What a good girl!!! Izzy is 7 mouths old today. She sleeps in our bed everynight, but our bed is very high off the ground so she can't just jump off. She loves to sleep with us. For the couple of days a noticed the She has had VERY loose...Well I tried to put her in her crate to sleep but she looked so sad :-(...She didn't cry she just looked really sad. So I let her sleep with us last night anyway...(knowing that shwe my poop in my bed)..lol Well last night she woke me up 3 times to take her poop outside :-) I was so proud of her.... What a good girl....All my hard work in potty training her has really paid off.. But know I have to find out what is causing her Diarrhea....I guess it's boilded brown rice and chicken breast for her the next couple of days. |
You sound like a very sweet mommie. I need to caution you of reasons she may have loose stool. It is very common for puppies to have worms, etc, but you should also have the vet check her for giardia, as this is transferable to humans and you should not have her in your bed :) I'd have a stool sample tested as soon as possible. Hopefully, I'm wrong, but remember it's treatable but you need to tend to it as soon as you can. Good luck! |
OK thanks for the advice....I will look into it right away!! Thanks again :) |
Well she just threw up!!!! she's going to the vet at 1:20 today... |

That's good you made the appointment. Could be several things, better safe than sorry. She is a good girl for understanding she has to go out. You are doing a great job with training. Good luck with the visit, let us know. |
Hope she is feeling better soon. She sounds like a very good girl. :) |
You are a very loving momma to your baby! I hope the vet appointment goes well :) |
I think your are supposed to not give them anything to rest their gut. But I am not a vet so of course do whatever they say. |
Well we are back from the vet...She got an injection for her tummy, They are doing a stool sample as we speak ( the are going to call with results) But they gave her Amforol tables to stop the loose stools, and gave her a drontal tablet cuz they think she could have a parasite :(... I keep her sooooo clean, so I don't know where she would have got warms from... aghhhhh :) They want her on Presciption Diet I/D food or Boiled chicken breast and rice till her tummy gets feeling better....But she will not eat eaither one of them :( But her vet said to call in the morning if she is still not eating...This will give time for the shot to kick in...I'm so worried about her :( |
Awwwww poor baby, I hope she feels better, and the meds start working so she will eat...awwww I had my lil one to vet, a few days after I got her, and they called and said it was that guardia, I had never heard of it...before then...I keep everything so clean, and use distilled water..plus mine don't go outside (we live in mt.s, way to many animals running around:eek:) they figured she had it when I got her, but breeder didn't think so..so I have no idea, only had her 4 days before vet visit...but they put her on 2 different meds and it all cleared up! Good luck....keep us informed... |
