LIL escape artist on your hands..lol...thank goodness she was safe, and didn't get hurt... I have a big kennel, breeder said to get one when I first got Shay, so I could put a lil litterbox with a puppy pad in the back...so if he needed to go at night, he could..it worked like a charm. But mine are puppy pad trained. |
Be careful! Mine was able to climb over the gate, so I bought a new gate that had ONLY vertical slats ... no way to get a foothold with those. Even with a top, if they can still climb, they can fall and get a foot stuck, and be left hanging upside down for a long time until you find them. At best, they will have leg damage, but at worst they will pass out and die from hanging upside down. |

escape artist !! When we got Pebbles at 12 wks. We put her in the 24 in. xpen & when we came home she met us at the door. I put her back in the pen & went about my business watching her & trying to figure out how she got out. Eventually she climbed on top of her crate & then jumped out. We put a fishing net over the top of it & the next day she still met us at the door. We put wooden planks over the top with the net & that lasted about 2 days before she met us at the door. We figured it was better to train her without the pen than to find her hurt because she was trying to get out. |
