How often does your yorkie fart? Is it a boy thing lol? My little girl NEVER passes wind but Olly doesn't stop and can clear a room in seconds! Im thinking its what I feed him and want opinions ,or is it just a natural thing? Hes on Bakers complete meal which is a biscuit , twice a day and he is just over a year old. |
Hi there - Darwin just turned a year and we never have a problem with him tooting - we feed him GO! Natural and it really agrees with him. Now, our 115 Pyrenees X can definitely clear a room, building, town!! Go Natural doesn't have any fillers and that may make a difference. Good luck! |
I love fart story's :D Buffy will be 13 next month and she farts almost every night, when she stretches in her sleep she farts like a balloon letting out air but because of her low fat/low protein diet her farts don't smell. Now my 3 boys let out silent deadly ones, that make me look around the floor for poop because that what they smell like  |
"my 3 boys let out silent deadly ones, that make me look around the floor for poop because that what they smell like" LOL...Roxie does this too! |

I am blessed. My two never fart. I don't think they ever have. Now I had a JRT who could clear a room. |
Hmm...I've actually never heard Lexi fart, but there was one time when we were in the car and something smelt really bad, i believe she did fart, because it was really bad and I had to wind down the windows, and when we got home she had to take a poop right away. |

Out of my six boys and one girl, it's Chelsea who reigns at tooting. I've had to get out of bed and leave the bedroom in the middle of the night while I wait for the smell to clear out. :p |
Funny post!!!! I have only heard Fiona pass gas twice! My boyfriend's dog,Honey, she sounds human when she does pass gas, it's very funny, and I always laugh when she does it! |
LOL :D Mia is the worst, always has been. I've had to get up and make sure there was no poop on the floor. Addie seems to like to jump on my lap, settle in, and fart. I don't know why she does this to me, she doesn't do this to DH. Luckily it isn't on a daily basis! |
I think diet has alot to do with backfiring:p Lucky for me, Buddy dosen't do this. It usually me who makes him leave the room. |
My mutt lets SBDs every night...clears the room... Little Fizz-gig has audibles (loud for such a little guy) just before he goes #2 but never in the house:) |

His loud farts scare him sometimes. ! |
not very many any more since taking them off high protien foods, but when they did eat them Tucker farted at least a 100 times a day.. (of course thats an exageration but as smelly as they were it sure did seem like it..;)) |
Hmm, my dogs and cat do not fart, but my 20 year old son, that's a different story!!:) Maybe I need to change his food? |
Molly was always windy, but since i changed her to Burns dried food, she hardly ever farts! It a very good food apart from slightly low meat content, so i just add a bit of boiled chicken. She does lovely solid small poos...easy to pick up, and not very smelly! :D:thumbup: |

Hi, I'd definitely change his food. Bakers is an appalling food. I've got my yorkie on James Wellbeloved which is brilliant. She rarely pumps, loves it and she's getting everything she needs from the JW. It is a bit more expensive but it's worth it in the long run as you'll have a healthier dog. Hate to think what's going on in his guts to pump as much as he does. |
Penny does the silent but deadly i going to try her on wellness and see if it helps |
:yelrotflm:lol tears:eyetearssI'm reading all of these posting about farting and can help but laugh. These are really funny. Pixie has never farted or cut windy. But, Husband is another story. |
SBDs ROFLMAO :lol tears |

This thread is cracking me up! But, yeah, you probably want to change his food. :) The yorkie, I mean. |
Moto's still a little guy so im not so sure if he passes gas yet or not. On the other hand My JRT swoooooo boy. I use to think my son and husband would blame it on her just so they didn't have to fess up to it. Till I took her on a short road trip with me. Shes sprawled out on the front truck seat just happy as you please when the oder hits. I actually threw up a little in my mouth before i got get the windows down. I now know she's just as guilty of the stinks as the guys are. Actually I can usually tell if she did it or not by asking her did u stinky and she smells her bottom and I either get a guilty puppy dog eyes look or a sideways head turn doesn't smell like it mommy look. |
Thanks guys for your replies and Ive been recomended Burns food which looks excellent so Im going to give that a go and change Ollys food gradually.:) Hopefully then we will be fart free. Save a fortune on air fresheners lol |
My Gypsy is a real lady and never passes gas that we know of. Now, Sophie, our boston terrier is another story. THe breed is known for it. She can clear the room. She will fart then run out of the room as if we don't know it is her. The 3 dogs sleep with us and one night it was Sophie and hubby playing "dueling farts'" I believe. Gypsy and Puff stayed out from the covers that night. |
