What to do Before I got Precious, my yorkie I was looking to adopt a puppy who needed a home. She's a newborn puppy and a Shiu Tzu/terrier mix. The puppy ended up having a hard time weaning and I ended up purchasing my yorkie. The lady that was adopting her out contacted me today and said that she still hasn't found a home for baby girl. My question is, should I bring an additional newborn in the house? It's a different breed and I'm not sure how well their personalities would mesh. Precious has proven to be the perfect puppy thusfar, going potty outside, waking up only once in the night to go potty. Looking for feedback from those who may have had two babies at once. |
Two puppies at the same time is generally not recommended: Two Puppies or One? - VeterinaryPartner.com - a VIN company! Think twice before getting 2 puppies - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review |
Wonderful reads, exactly what I was looking for. I don't think I can hit the lottery twice. Precious is SO good and for me to be hopeful I'd get two pups with the same personality is a shot in the dark... I think I'll wait until Valentines day next year to decide if I want to add to the family. Thanks for the articles :) |
