I'm not a yorkie but I need love too 1 Attachment(s) The girls and I have a house guest. Hi my name is Bailey and I am a 4 month old cocker spaniel. My daddy bought me for my mommie who is handicapped. His idea was that I could keep her company and challenge her to do more by caring for me. However, the plan backfired. SHe was not able to keep up with me. My folks contacted Misti's friend and they came and got me to stay with Misti and Maya and Mika until I can find a forever home. |

He's cute. I had a friend that used to have one years ago. Great dog, but I remember they had a terrible time with ear infections. It got pretty serious.:( |

1 Attachment(s) Thanks THe person I had in mind for him is currently grieving. As a matter of fact the funeral is today. I have mentioned my cocker obsessed friend here often. His Summer died, the orginal matriach of the 3 girls he had. Two are gone and only the middle one remains, and she is no spring chicken. I am hoping that he can get over it in time to decide to take Bailey. No better Dad could be found anywhere in the world.Here is a picture of Michaeland SUmmer |

Bailey is a beautiful cocker. I had a black cocker in the early 80's when my boys were little. He was the sweetest dog. I love the pic of your friend and his baby that is a very lovely and touching picture. I hope he is able to take little Bailey, he looks like he would be a wonderful dad. |
I hope he will be able to take the little guy. Cockers are such cuddle bugs. My parents had 3 while I was growing up- in fact, this is the first time since I was 6 that they haven't had a cocker (and that's a loooooong time!) |
1 Attachment(s) Well here is the update. My friend, Michael is THE dog owner, whisperer, lover. I have never seen a better dog parent ever. Problem is he loves TOO hard. So we lost his SUmmer (age 19), and we were to bury her yesterday in the only pet cememtary we have here, which is in Millington. The services were to be at 1:00. Here is what happened to Millington, and the pet cemetary called and said the services were OFF. |
1 Attachment(s) SO Michael says he can't even THINK about taking Bailey until Summer is laid to rest. He doesn't seem to be that much in to him due to grieving and the fact that he is a boy. He also has to consider Sybil (older one and only one left of the 3), in taking in a new puppy, and his MOTHER who runs her grown son's life.....Oh well things don't look too good for little Bailey. |
