Just checking in to see if there were any updates...I really hope you get Benjamin back soon and you can give him all the hugs and kisses you want.

I totally agree with what everyone is saying, and I completely understand that everyone is looking out for each other. I think it's great that we have this kind of caring family community here. I know there are def some wackos out there who do all sorts of scams, etc...And believe me, my personalty always goes to the 'bad' - but in this case I really believe this to be true, I read past posts and saw nothing to alert me or make me feel this were a scam. I wanted to help, no one forced me, I offered and I take responsibility for my own actions. I give to alot to very reputable organizations, but I have also been politely asked in PMs from people on YT to contribute to other YT members, whether it be a loss of a pet, a home, a job or family, and in these instances sometimes I really know the YT member, and other times I barely do, either way, I am asked to put some faith into it. And that is what I did here....

I have great respect for law enforcement, I really do, but it's not my decision, nor is it my place to force someone to involve the police if they fear it won't get their baby back. And to be honest, I don't know what I would do either, until it were to happen to me, I can't honestly say which route I'd go to get my babies back - sorry if that upsets people, but they are my life and that's how I feel.

I hope that she can get Benjamin back home safe :(

Hi.... Ok well I sold my camara to a neighbor and had all of the money. Had the guy take me there and ended up with the guy who supposivly knew who in the park had my dog got nervous about me being there and called it off.. I was ready to lose it. I told the guy to find out where in the F*** my dog was. He asked "he says" someone in there to find out and they drew me a diagram of the exact location. I called the police and they were no help at all. I met them at a donut stand outside of the trailor park and told them my story. They were pretty much like, "and how do you know it's your dog" and "we cant really do anything if they dont cop to it" They did follow me in there and i went to the trailor and of coarse the guy who answered said no. and the cop basically said, "well he doesnt' have your dog, I gotta go" And left me standing in that ghetto ass trailor park alone where I just brought the Ploice!!! I was scared and felt like I had to get to my car asap before I got hurt. I do think he's in there and now I will probably never see him for sure! That place was so gross... Dogs running around off leashes, fighting with eachother, chained up outside. OMG!! Why is this happening!

I just got done reading all the posts. And I am in no way lying. This is unreal to me. I cannot believe people could be so disgusting to do something like this. And as far as him being in the front yard.... he was not suppose to be in the front yard, I only allow him in the back yard unless I have him with me in the front yard. I was working, (I work from home) so didn't realize he was even in the front, til my daughter came to me to say "where's benjamin" I stopped everything right then and there and that's what Ive been doing every second of every hour since. Trying to get him back.
Ya some areas of Long Beach aren't that great... my area isn't that bad.. But the place that these people took my dog is just out of Long Beach in Comptom. When I called Long Beach police they seemed anxious to help, until they found out the location of the trailor park and said I'd have to call Compton police,, which I did with no help whats so ever... just made to feel like I was waisting their time.

I havn't even checked my paypal account, but see from other threads that some people may have sent money. I really wasn't here to try to get money. I really enjoy this website alot. I just posted becuase I thought it would be a good support system for me. Not to many people understand what I'm going through when I tell them. Because the bond between yorkies is so much different than with other dogs. Yes all dogs are special and great companions, but yorkies are like babies and they need you and the bond is special. I just posted cause I knew that people here understand that. I really felt so alone in all of this, so I posted where I thought I could get support from people who understand.
If any dontations were sent, I will be sending them back...
But please stop making suggestions that this story is made up. My heart is broken in two right now and that's just mean.

OMGosh...I can't imagine the pain and anguish you are feeling...and your poor baby...scared and wanting you. There's got to be something you can do to get your baby back. Do you have any men friends that could help? I will be praying that you will have him back with you soon. Shame on the police who choose not to help you.

I do hope you return the money. I certainly don't want to cause you any more distress. However, it's in violation of YT rules to accept donations in cases like this.

I know. This is just to much. Sick sick people. I am trying to think of what else I could possibly do. Maybe I will just have to get as dirty as they are. Yes I have plenty of male friends. I know this sounds like something out of a movie. Who knows maybe this guy is just full of s**t. I know where abouts to find him, so I tracked him down after which is how I got the information on which trailor to look for him. I also went and found him after I took the police to tell him I still didn't get my dog and he said he was going to go there and get it one way or the other then he'll call me. I'm not going to hold my breath. I've been going on this guys word for two days with nothing. I just dont understand what the heck is the big problem. It's my dog, give it back!! It doesn't make any sense. But I don't understand at the same time why he'd string me along either. What would he be getting out of that He really acts like he knows the dog is there.
All I can keep thinking of is how scared Benjamin is and if he's being treated right. Makes me ill.
I really hope I come on here to post i got him back soon. :(
