What are you talking about? If by highway you mean residential road, tons of people let their dogs play in their front lawn supervised. Don't judge.

Anyway.... your right. It was. I sent him pic via yahoo and he all of a sudden quit responding. Then today he sends me a "nudge" and says hello. I sent him a message back that said, "what is ur problem" but no reply. You shouls see his pic. I'll try to get it up. His yahoo name is "loverdauglas"

I understand. No worries. I would wonder the same thing if I were watching it from your angle. I knew he wouldn't run out in the street. I wouldn't have put him in danger. He never almost got hit by a car because he never ran out into the street. I understand your concern though.

You can try calling the shelter and asking them to note on the animals record when you are coming to meet the dog, in hopes they will keep it alive until your arrival.

However, they are short staffed due to budget cuts and may not answer the phone. In such case, PLEASE RUSH TO VISIT THE SHELTER TODAY IN PERSON AND RESCUE THE ANIMAL. It is not the shelter's fault that they are short staffed or that they put animals down, there are just too many animals surrendered by the public.

I just called the shelter. He's scheduled for Euthanasia on the 9th. That shelter should be close to her.

I have her personal email. i'll email her but i assume its the same email she uses for here.

I called the shelter again to get more information. He has an unregistered microchip, but apparently this person said he is not scheduled to be euthanized, that is a mistake online?? Someone is scheduled to come get him on the 9th, if they don't show, there is a waiting list of people wanting to adopt the little guy. So, if that's the truth, that makes me feel better! I was on my way down there to get him!
