HELP..she is whining all night Please any suggestions. Bella is missing her litter mates, And My DH said she is not allowed to sleep on our bed because we already have 3 other dogs sleeping with us, and its too crowded. anyway she is whining all night in the crate. I need SLEEP. DH sleeps like a rock so its not bothering him, but I wake up at the slightest noise. her crate in our bedroom, and I have a few of my shirts in there with her so she has my sent, but she is still whining. she will stop for about 5 minutes. I guess to get her energy for the next round....and she will go for an hr straight and then take a 5 min brake, and then goes for another hr..what have you guys done. this is the first time we are using a night time crate and sticking to it. so I have never had to go through this. all the others just got to sleep with us...but hubby is right 4 in our bed will just be to many. |
is she good with any of the others, could one of them sleep in an expen with her? She may not understand why everyone human and canine alike are in the bed and she is left alone. When mine were puppies and still potty training and had to sleep in the crate I would put these two toys in, one you put in the microwave to get warm and the other had a heartbeat.... they really seemed to calm them down... I would hear Chloe turn the heartbeat back on after it turned off most nights. |
I have one sleeping with me and the other two are free to sleep anywhere they please. I have a comforter right next to my bed and their beds all spread out in every room. She might just be whining because she's in the crate not because she want to sleep in the bed. If she's not potty train put a diaper just for the night. |
I brought a heartbeat pillow and warming pad toy just so I don't encounter this issue. |

Omg I hope I get to sleep tonight..I have been so B@#%# all day..lol But we are going to try something else tonight, we are going to try and put the other dogs in the pen with her, and if that dont work. Then I guess we are getting another bed buddy...lol |
For a second I thought this thread was started by a husband complaining about his wife! Give her time to adapt. Some adapt faster than others. |

I'd ignore the DH and bring the puppy in. Just kick out a couple others for the night. |

The poor baby feels left out. Maybe you could sleep with it in another room and leave DH with the other ones. I know I would. |
