Nervous Wreck.......
 
Tomorrow morning I take my Pepper in to be spayed. She is 4yrs 9months old and weigh 7lbs. I had all the pre op ( blood, urine, etc.) work done and it all came back looking great !! Which was wonderful news. I love my vet and have been going to her for years but i am still so scared, I have been since i made the appointment 2 weeks ago. So as i have seen many members do on YT, i ask for your prays too. Please pray for Pepper......okay now i am going to cry lol. :(

Sounds like Pepper's very healthy. I know it's hard not to be a nervous wreck, I was there a couple weeks ago, but I know everything will be just fine!!:girl_hug:

She will fly thru, and be back to normal in no time at all. You also going to have her teeth cleaned when she is under? Best of luck

She will surprise you and come through with flying colors, it's you who made need a little extra support. Keep yourself busy, go buy a present for her to welcome her home and once she's home have a nice glass of wine while you watch her sleep. I'll keep you and her in my thoughts and prayers.:);)

Aww, it's okay. I know it's hard to do, but it is really for the best. I just went thru this last week myself with my almost 6 yr. old. It was hard to leave her there, but she is fine now and had no problems at all. Wishing your girl a speedy recovery!

I know how you feel. Just went through this a couple of weeks ago with Daisy. Everything will be just fine. Let us know how it goes.

My Sophie goes on Friday. Spay, dental extractions & microchip!! Poor little bit is 8 mos and 3.62lbs so I share you fears. I found myself on the verge of tears at work over some minor issue. Could be I am stressing>!>:(

I am nervous too, but it must be done. Uni is already 3 yrs and i still haven't done it! Can I ask you what made you decide to finally make the appointment? I am waiting until I can afford to do the bloodwork, laser, and dissolveable sutures. But I do hear they bounce back really quick. My foster had bladderstone surgery, which is way more invasive, and she was trying to run and jump within 3 days!

I had Faith spayed on April 1st and she also had 14 baby teeth pulled. That day of the surgery she was so miserable, but by the next morning, she was back to her normal self. Except for sleeping a little more than usual, she was great. I was worried sick, and all went well, and I'll pray all goes well with Pepper's surgery tomorrow! Hugs to you!

She is not having her teeth done.....belive it or not my vet is surprised how good her teeth are.... i do brush her teeth and i have this spray i use. She is getting micro chipped.

Well i dropped her off at 7 ..... i am such a baby she was shaking so i started to cry. But my Vet said she will call me when she starts the and when she is done.... so i will let everyone know. I know she is going to be just fine.

She will be fine.....What do you spray for her good teeth? I use a few drops of Oxyfresh Pet mixed in their water.

Well, i have 3 Yorkies 1 male and 2 females. So we were going to do it last year but Pepper (female) and Bosco ( male) decided they wanted our family to grow by one. Pepper got and gave birth to one puppy (female) so we did not want incest so the smart thing to do was to neuter my male to prevent that. Bosco got neuter in Nov. and Pepper came into her heat in Jan., it is wise to spay female 2-3 months after their last heat which puts us here today. There was no particular reason why we did not do it sooner. She is a VERY healthy Yorkie. Blood work is def. a good thing to have done along with urine test..

It is called PetzLife. The stuff is great, it is all natural. I spray 2 sprays in her mouth at bed time so she wont have any food or water. I still brush her teeth even though it says you dont have to. Here is a link. I am pretty sure you can also get it at Petsmart and Petco.

:D Vet called and said she did great and is sitting up and wants to go home, LOL:p !!! I pick her up at 2pm. Thank you again everyone !!!!

Prayers going up. But she'll be fine. a little groggy for a day but they bounce back sooo quickly.
