One tired pup 4 Attachment(s) We have had the longest day ever! I've been up since 4 am. My husband got into a car accident and I had to go pick him up. So here I am trying to wake Gus up. He is just as bad as the kids. He would just open his eyes to roll them and shut them again. He was dead sleep and just did not want to come out of his nice warm crate. So I picked him up and woke him up with kisses, This is how he looked after finally waking up. And the other 2 are after getting ready and wide awake. We both are dead tired and can't wait till the clothes in the washing machine to finish so I can get to bed! Gus gave it up about an hour ago and is sleeping so comfortably in his crate. Little brat! |
Ooops they came out in different order. The 2 in the middle are of the sleepy Gus Gus and the othe 2 are wide awake Gus. |
He is adorable! I hope your husband is fine....and I figure he must be if you stopped to take pictures of your little Gus before going to get him :p LOL |
Oh my, I hope your Husband is OK. If I got up at 4 am, I would need a long nap. :D |
HEE HEE, Actually I do get up at 4:am and I am out the door by 5:00am every morning. Roxie wakes up long enough to use the restroom and then I take her to my son's room where she falls over dead until a more decent hour arrives :D She can easily sleep until 10:00 each morning if you let her! |
I hope your husband is alright. I have a yorkie like that. Always have to carry him out the door in the morning to potty before I leave for work :rolleyes: |

Tucker is always fast asleep when my husband scoops him up at 5 am. But then after his walk he is full of energy. My husband, the brat, throws him back in bed with me and he climbs all over me and gives me kisses. Although lately, it's been cold out in the morning so Tucker just wants to cuddle when he gets back in to the warm bed. He is so not a good cuddler that I just love it! He only cuddles when he is tired. The rest of the time he is, as we call him, Ritalin Puppy! |
Yes my husband is fine. The car might not survive but he is just fine. He realized that he was a bit sore after coming and relaxing. I wanted him to get checked out but he did not want to go. It happened so early and it was pouring rain that I had to wait till daylight go to get him. Me with my poor eyesight would have not been able to drive in those conditions. He called me right after it all happened to let me he was ok and to go back to sleep and he would call me when it got light out. Needless to say I was one worried gal and there was no way I can go back to bed. So I got up and made myself a cup of coffee and got ready slowly. I was going to atempt to go get him before daylight but it was just raining too hard. I didn't want to have both cars wrecked. So I had some time to kill before going to get him. He was waiting at Denny's and they were kind enough to feed him on the house while he was waiting. He had been on the cell most of the time, so he said time went by fast. |

I am so glad that your husband is ok - how scary! It's so cute to see our sleepy Yorkie's. When Schatzie is in her sleepy mode i begin to give her little kisses. She rolls over on her back and starts to smack her lips. It just cracks me up. :p Your pictures are adorable. |

Aw, glad to hear your husband is ok. Those pictures are so adorable. Maggie does the "sleepy face" thing too! I love when she's reallllly tired... when i pick her up she just wants to cuddle up and kinda be like a ragdoll. looove it :) |
