I couldn't find my original post i ended up taking her to the vets they said she is bleeding inside from front to back she is on meds we are seeing if this works,.. gastro- something i need to call the vet everyday still bleeding hope the meds kick in

Im so sorry to hear about your girl.
THe vet decided not to keep her? I was wondering if she was eating?
Hoping for a fast full recovery!!!

Possibly Gastro Intestial Lymphangiectasia?

Either way, I'm so glad you got her in and hoping the meds help her.

gastroenteritis? hmmm did they say hge? did they do blood work and the red blood cells were increased? what meds did they give? I am confused so please list what they did as sounds like she should be on iv fluids and resting her stomach ? Let us know what they did and meds they gave

Gastroenteritis in Dogs

i am still concerned as gastro is in fecal or vomit but you stated she was bleeding from the vulva correct? If so i am still concerned about pyometra as someone else on here her dog was not diagnosed properly and vet thought her dog was pregnant when in fact she had pyometra and she was adimant to spay her immediately and it turned out when he opened her up she had pyometra and was not pregnant as owner was adimant no way she was pregnant so due to owner being adimant her dog was saved.

Let us know if that bleeding was from vulva as no way would a gastro intestinal upset come out the vulva and many times vets label anything intestinal gastro intestinal

was her white blood cell count high as that is signs of infection

if no blood from vulva then yes this could very well be gastrointestinal and hge as you desribe vomitting is blood clot as the diarrhea and vomit is clotted when hge and it is very dangerous as the red blood cells multiply shutting down the organs and can be deadly if not treated immediately

the original post i thought she was bleeding from vagina but she isn't she is vomiting blood and blood is coming out the other end.. butt area,.. he put her on meds amoxi and sucralfate,.. he gave her shots at the vet for this and to calm her stomach,.. they didn't do blood work there she was to worked up and yes they sent her home with me to nurse her back to health they said it would be to expensive to keep her there etc.. I have to keep calling the vet everyday to let him know how she is doing... thank you all for your well wishes and prayers please hope for a speedy recovery !!

Thank you for the update. You did the right things taking her into the vet as quickly as you did. Hope she is better quickly. :)
