| Poxy79 | 04-26-2010 09:59 AM | I have a question about the stamps.
I received an email from a dear friend of mine who owns and operates a terrier rescue and she said it was great that the USPS is doing this, but these stamps cost as much as a regular book of stamps ($8.80 for 20 or $0.44 for one) so how much of the sales is ACTUALLY going towards the animals that need help, if any?
I have looked and looked and cannot find this info anywhere. I will be more than willing to to go purchase a roll of them if the USPS can provide the information about how much of the proceeds go to help feed hungry cats and dogs, but it just seems to me that they are trying to boost their sales and are appealing to those of us who have a soft spot for animals in need. Sorry to be a downer, but I think it's a legitimate question and I just cannot find the answers. Anyone have a clue? Thanks, and sorry again to be a downer about this. It's a wonderful idea. |
