My oldest (Gizmo, a 1 year old poodle mix) gets run of the house, but our newest little addition (Lilly, a 14 week old Yorkie) stays in her crate....and actually Gizmo stayed in it until he was about a year as well. It is the size for a 50 pound dog though, so she has tons of room. In just the few weeks that we have had her, she has come to think of it as her space. When she gets tired, she goes right in and goes to sleep. |
You can also use a baby playpen when they are small. I kept everything in there that she would need ( toys, pad and food). I used that until she was a little bigger. :) |
