Ok.... if you could see her FACE under that mop of hair, she would probably be giving me that, "What? What did I do now?" look ----- LOOK WHAT SHE DID TO MY CARPET TODAY!!!
I posted a "flooring suggestion" thread today because I was *thinking* of replacing my carpet!! UGH... at least her timing was good -- guess I'll go ahead and do it now. :mad:

Now, Mom, it was just one little teeny tiny boo boo. I'm sure that Dixie was just "inspecting" the carpet and got a little carried away. She looks so innocent.

LOL its a funny pictures The floors not funny but that look sure is. Looks like shes saying mom I didnt know if I pulled on this little tiny part that it would do all that.

ahhhhhhhh Crunchy pulls up the carpet too! im always finding carpet shreds all over. i get so frustrated :mad: well there goes my apt deposit

i put a carpet repair help post up. did you reply to it? Edgar picked out a quarter sized section of fluff out of our 6 month old carpet. you can see the backing!! and it's off center of the middle...right now i have the vacuum over the spot. you can't put a throw rug there or put the furniture on it.
sigh.
i know just how you feel.
i didn't think it was cute either. and my husband is livid...

I had a shnauzer that did the same thing with that kind of carpet. I used a glue gun to try to repair each episode but it was not perfect. I do not think he ever got that much up though. If you ever get new carpet, don't buy the Berber. You need a kind that does not unravel once it gets going.

Awww, such a cute face but I know how frustrating it is. We had Berber carpet in our old house and I know that if you get a run like that, there are ways to fix it. You can cut the run off close down at the base but I think there's something else you do too. Call a carpet place and ask about how to repair it yourself. OR just get new flooring.... I guess you have a good excuse now. :p

I personally am all for wood flooring. In the new house we just built, we have all wood floors with tile in the bathrooms and utility room. We even laid it ourselves. I remember people saying "not even carpet in the bedrooms??!!". Nope, when you can actually see the dust/hair bunnies and dirt and dust (we live in the country) on that wood flooring because it has nowhere to hide, you realize just how much crap can hide in carpet! We have area rugs in places but I'm really satisfied with the "wood". It's great for allergies too. We got the Armstrong brand (laminate) that looks like wide plank flooring. LOVE IT! Really good price too. Good luck with whichever way you go on this!

The face is great. They know just how to get to you!. I had that happen to my berber. The carpet guy was able to fix it for me.

i've seen this at my house, chewie pulled a big thread up frommy carpet too, by my fireplace i've been trying not to leave him alone in the living room, but he will pick up a snag right in front of me. yea it sure makes me mad!! but i can't do anythin but yell at him he looks so cute all 2.7 pounds of him

too cute! Dixie you are busted. But mom it's just a little string, just cut it so she wont keep going back and pulling further and further out. I love the hair,,, it hids that little adorabe but guilty face.
