Yorkie Facial Expressions
 

I've identified at least 5 different facial expressions on Brandi. My favorite expressions is if I am walking and suddenly stop, she gives me this look like "why'd you stop?" She does this little crooked smile whenever she does this look

Other facial expression are her
I don't want that cat anywhere near me look
Are you going to feed me look
Her being a watchdog look
I did something I've shouldn't of done look (mainly potty accidents in the house)

All of her facial expressions are so expressive. I can tell by her look what she is thinking. It's so freaking cute!:D

I have a love/hate relationship, w/the look I get, if I can't get Apple outside, due to rain, etc., and she poops and looks up at me, like "aren't you going to clean that up?"...Fortunately, she's on raw, it's very firm, and I have wood/tile...A little nature's miracle, and we're all good...

Oh I can't forget the "Don't me make go outside cause its raining look".

Facial expressions:

the happy smile - trotting thru the house with their mouths open, lips pulled back

the you hurt my feelings look - looking up at you after you've gotten after them with their bottom lip stuck out and a frown on their faces

the big grin - gee I'm happy to see you; it's been so long. Full frontal teeth showing and an obvious grin

sad & heartbroken (the long face) - gosh I can't believe you are leaving me here all alone

total excitement - big bright eyes, ears going in every direction, and mouth in a big O

Yorkies are the most expressive I've ever seen.:)

At bedtime Starlin sits up in bed with this fustrated look, like will you hurry up and settle in so I can get my spot so I can go to sleep.

I remember this one classic look. I was holding Branding with one arm. One of my friends went to pet Brandi. Brandi lean back and gave her this look like "I don't know you like that to be petting me".:D Me and my friend just busted out laughing. It was hilarious. We laughed for about 10 minutes.

With one expression, Brandi pretty much told my friend to back off. I just met you, and I don't want you petting my yet. At least let me get to know you first. That was classic.

LOL! I love your descriptions Jessica. I've had all sorts of dogs in my life, and the only dog that ever came close to being as expressive was my golden.

Rhett gives me the "I did not just poop in the corner, it must have been Sam" look.

"Is that food? Really, I'm serious, give me that food! I haven't eaten in a whole 4 hours!" look.
