Bella is finally home 1 Attachment(s) Well Bella came home on sat. and I have just worn myself out. I watch her every move and she watches my every move. She is so tiny. I worry about her getting sick. She did throw up yesterday but she took a nap got up and off she went to her normal self. Here is my little sweet pea.:D |
OMG!!!! I am totally extatic for you! When I saw the thread I got so excited!! Life has begun for you and Bella! I can't wait to watch her grow and to hear all the fun stories! I know it can be exhausting the first few days just getting to know eachother and getting on a schedule! I remember bringing all 3 of mine home and adjusting to life! But by this time next week everything will have kicked into gear! She is so adorable in that little dress! Please don't hesitate to contact me if there is anything you need! So exciting! Have a blast! Hope to talk to you soon! :-) |

bella is just to precious, congrats on your new little girl!! |
Thanks to everyone. She is feisty but loving all in one little package. I do have a question....she was on Royal Canine 33 with the breeder. She did not eat very well at all. Hard to gain weight. I took her to meet my other dog and she found his food and went crazy over it. The only thing he has always been such a picky eater himself. The only thing we could find for him to eat was Beneful. Which did not score very well. I did take some and crunch it up and she act like she had never ate before and would never get to eat again. She went totally crazy and I had to pull it away and put it up. I have tried Wellness and Avoderm RC 30 and RC 33. She will not eat them at all. Any ideas to something more healthy then Beneful? |
Congrats on your beautiful little Bella. She is adorable. |
My Chloe hated all the "good" dog foods... it was so hard for me to find one she liked. The breeder had her on wet food mixed with dry food, but i have a feeling she would eat the wet and leave the dry for her brother. We tried so many dog foods - and finally Bil Jac came to our rescue. It comes in pellets (like rabbit food) and seems easier for her to break. It does contain corn, but is supposed to have 4lbs of chicken in a 6 lb bag. Our 2 lb adult chihuahua (7 oz when she came home) loved it also! It may not be the healthiest, but it is considered super premium and keeps Chloe's belly full... which really is the only thing that matters. Good luck ;) Quote:

Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into trying Bil Jac.:) |

I know that there are a lot of differnt foods to decide about, I use natural balance, it is a 4 out of 5 star but I found that even my really picky girl will eat it :) I found the ingredient list from the Bil Jac website, I will try to copy and paste it KEY INGREDIENTS: Chicken, Chicken By-Products (organs only, source of arginine), Corn Meal, Chicken By-Product Meal, Dried Beet Pulp, Brewers Dried Yeast, Oatmeal and Flaxseed. GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: Crude Protein, not less than 28.0% Crude Fat, not less than 18.0% Crude Fiber, not more than 4.0% Moisture, not more than 10.0% Arginine, not less than 1.40% Methionine, not less than 0.55% Omega-6 Fatty Acids, not less than 2.70%* Omega-3 Fatty Acids, not less than 0.30%* *Not recognized as an essential nutrient by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles |
