Maximus is going to Cali........
 
Maximus and I are going to visit Nobella on Friday in Cali.~~~ YAY~~But I am worried about this airplane trip...has anyone ever flown Song airlines??? There requirements for carriers are 13x 10 x 10...I am afraid Maximus is gonna be squished even in his soft carrier.....nerves!!

Sorry, I can't help you on the carriers. My Roxie is a little chunky and I haven't found the perfect carrrier yet. I want her to have room and be comfortable. I would be nervous too. I have never taking a animal on a plane trip. Do they get to stay with you? Can you buy a ticket for your furbaby?

But I can say, "WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA!" Not sure what part you are visiting but I hope you both enjoy your stay! :p

Yes I am taking him on board with me but I have to leave him under the seat during the plane ride.

I am so glad he gets to be near you! I would hate to think of my Roxie in a separate place. Hopefully you can tire him so he will sleep most of the way. I thought( and I could be completely wrong) I read somewhere on a forum that the vet could give them something to keep them calmed down. I have a hard time jut taking Roxie to the Vet. She gets so nervous, shakes, pants and it feels like her heart is going to come out her chest. I feel so bad. I don't think she could handle a plane ride because she doesn't even like to ride in a car either.

I sure it will all work out and he will do wonderfully!

Im So Excited, And I Just Can't Hide It!!!! Yay For Me!!! I Get Houseguests This Weekend! Party Time For Maximus And Coco...can I Get A Whoop Whoop..hehe..Sam I will be the big dork at the airport with a wiggly small yorkie sticking out of her armpit..haha

Does that mean I have to shave mine to...lol, that is one of the perks of being single I can go a day or 2 without shaving...lol...but I will be sprinkling onthe glitter, I'll telll you how that goes :cool: ...YAY!!! I am so excited too!!!

I've flown Song many times, and the only thing I do is make sure I get a window seat. It seems like on their planes, the aisle seat doesn't have a wide enough space for Toby's carrier. I have the "wheeled backpack" one, and it's wider than my "Sherpa." The one thing I would advise you to do, is to hook his harness or collar to the inside of the carrier. (most of them have a hook to do this with) Toby dug the zippers open once and escaped. He made it back about 11 rows before someone spotted my little "Houdini." I don't give him anything to "calm" him down. When he was little, he would cry for a few minutes, but then just went to sleep. Now, he just settles down, and waits til we've landed. Enjoy your trip... it is so much better when you can take your baby with you! I'm going to the UK next week, so I'll be missing him like crazy!
