Any else own an abstinence dog??? Every single time my husband and I snuggle or try to kiss while on the couch or in our bed, this cute little yorkie makes her way right in the middle of us and tries to be involved. She kisses on us and she buts her little rear end into the situation. It's hilarious and sends us rolling into laughter...she's not aggressive or mean about it, but she's just THERE. We just laugh and laugh at her little antics. Sometimes she'll be in the kitchen in the x-pen and she will BARK when we kiss each other as if she's got a 6th sense. What a little abstinence doggie. Can't wait til' she's doing this for our children and their dates. HAHA. Anyone else have a pup that gets in the middle in a cute, non aggressive way?? |
Yep! If my husband and I kiss in bed, Chloe runs up and tries to get her tongue in there! It's hilarious, and I think sometimes my husband waits until she's just almost asleep on purpose. Then he'll lean over to kiss me just to get her attention. If she wasn't so darned cute, I might almost be jealous! He's kissing me to get her riled up, not for me! :D We're also not allowed to hug for very long (like when he comes home from work or leaves, etc) because she'll start barking, wanting attention too. While she waits patiently for her turn, she just stares and stares!! And we get all of about five seconds of that before she starts complaining! :D -C |
WHEN I had a husband, and my first yorkie, Brandi, she would not allow me to even touch HER MAN, kisses brought on furious barking and charging at us. We used to laugh. I guess in the end she won. I have no idea how these two would react, because I haven't had a man the whole time I have owned them. "Abstenance dog" how cute ROFLMAO |
I'll state the obvious. Hanging a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door will not work - closing the door probably won't work so you may be doomed to have 3-ways. They can be VERY interested in certain human behavior ...controlling too ...and as bad as it sounds - be right in the middle of every little thing :D ever thought of a motel ?????:p:p |

she's not so bad with that part because we know to just put her up for a bit, but for just simple snuggles and kissies on the sofa. she's always right there looking to get involved ;) at least it's not out of agression or jealousy though, she just likes kissies too haha |

sorry - had to say that :D:D:D:D:D have you ever seen the 'Diamond' thread ? it was the funniest thread on here I think and the poor girl who posted it was dead serious.....upset cause her dog was in the room while her sister and boyfriend were 'together' - and she came home to find her yorkie right in the room lol - when I say she was upset - I mean to the point of no one knowing if she was serious or joking - if you haven't seen that one - I'll find it. It's good for a huge laugh |

that is hilarious! abstinence dog!! |
Yes, Roxie gets seriously jealous when DBF and I are affectionate. If we are laying together on the couch she will come and lay right on top of us. If we kiss and hug she barks. Silly girl! |

most of the time she's in the kitchen in the x pen, but sometimes if we're all ready for bedtime (she sleeps with us) and something comes along all of a sudden...well then it's easier to slip her into the kennel (always beside my bed) and go with the mood :p |
LOL! too funny! |

Gatsby is like this if we are even in the bedroom with the tv turned off (i cant stand it when the tv is on, its like pay attention to me)he will sit downstairs and scream like he knows what we are doing he has also piddled on a box of condoms we joke that we are not sure if he wants a baby or not we cant cuddle in the bed Gatsby and Chi-Chi have to lay in the bed between us under the covers as for kissing we don't do that much in the main house because i raise my 16 year old sister and 10 year old brother and we are not married im terrified of sending the wrong idea. |

I'm laughing at everyone's posts - so glad I'm not the only one! Rio absolutely loves my hubby, and every night before we go to sleep, Rio has to give her daddy lots and lots of kisses. If my DH then leans over to kiss me good night, Rio has to go back and kiss her daddy some more, as if to wipe off my kiss! And as for um, privacy, we HAVE to put her in her kennel and put her in the kitchen. She would be WAY too jealous otherwise! |
Yep! I got one here! LOL. Usually Tobie sleeps on the bed inbetween us but one night my husband cuddled up against me, so Tobie decided that he would sleep on top of us. He thinks he ALWAYS has to be the center of attention. :p |

i just read the thread V. it's HILARIOUS thanks for bringing that up. Fortunately for me and for Sadie, i do shower with my yorkie, it's easier for us both to get clean that way, i do change in front of her and yes she tries to grab and eat my pants when i'm putting them on. so many funny things people admit on here but it makes us laugh and draws us close like a little family. i have one more for laughter's sake: does your yorkie lay in your undies and pants when they are around your ankles when ur on the john??? and do they stink their little noses and faces right between your legs when sitting there? and do they like to watch the water go down when you flush and sometimes lick around the bowl? HAD TO ASK SORRY!!! |
LOL. I love this thread. I agree that nothing will deflate a...ummmmm...mood faster than a cold nose in the middle of your back. Soph has to sleep between my DH and I and the little brat insists on laying crossways so we have to sleep even further apart. |
Two of them and now that I have this sweet little yorkie puppy who thinks the world revolves around her so I am sure she will join in. |
That's funny!!!!! Thanks Villette for posting that hilarious thread. My oh my. No topic is safe from YorkieTalk! |

I know each Yorkie has his/her own personality but it's also amazing how alike they are too! LOL. Yes, Tobie LOVES to play the "Pants Game" as I call it... when I am trying to put on my pants and he always has to watch the water go down when I flush the toilet. None of my other dogs do any of these things... just my Dorkie Yorkie. hehe :p |
haha...when my husband and I are in bed...alone...being spouses ...Joey and Tank will try to get up onto the bed to be with us...When my husband gives me a hug when I get home from work (he gets home earlier than I do), Tank will bark at him and jump up on his leg, as if to say "how dare you touch my mommy!!!" it's cute, I think he's just making sure I'm not getting hurt or something. Also...if we start kissing and they can get close to our faces, they will stick their faces in ours (whacha up to, mom and dad?), or start trying to kiss us too... |

oh pleeeeeeeeeeeese....I kept my posts as clean as I could and believe me -it was hard to do :p I just read the whole thing again (up toooooo early as usual) - it's just as good as it was back when we were posting on it....can't believe it's been 5 years. I remember reading a few things I said to my husband (Post #61 I think) and he was just looking at me and said - "you're giving sex advise on a dog site ? Why does that NOT surprise me" ? :D |
