Most of the time when people see Marley, they immediately assume that he's a girl. Have you ever had a similiar experience?

Yes, it happens with my Bailey all the time, it doesn't really bother me though, I just correct them :)

All the time :rolleyes: I put a bow in Pann's hair soooo people seem to get confused lol. I just kindly tell them the he is indeed a he. My family gets confused all the time too, and they see Pann all the time! People who don't have a yorkie just don't understand :p

I have had people see Callie in a pink harness, with a pink or mostly pink collar, and a pink leash and think shes a boy and sometimes she will even have a dress on.

I have the opposite problem... because Olive refuses to wear a bow and her harness is green, it's assumed that she's a boy :rolleyes:

I get the opposite - people think my little Rio is a boy. I think it's because her name ends in an "o" which is typical for boy names. I then have to explain how she's named after the Duran Duran song where it goes "Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand..."

We're getting a boy in about 6 weeks and his name will be Bullet, so no confusion there. Although I want to put his hair in a bow like Bailey, so he still might have an identity crisis... :confused:

I will as soon as we choose him. The puppies' mom and Rio share the same dad, so I hope he looks like Rio. We have first choice of 3 boys but they're only 6 weeks old so I haven't made a decision yet. I haven't told my DH that I intend to have his hair in a top knot too. I think he assumes Bullet will have a short cut. Hmmmm, we'll see.

oh yes...all the time! The way I think of it, if there aren't boys, how are there any at all? but...i guess a lot of people don't think of it that way, haha :) I just correct people, and I think keeping them in puppy cuts helps too. haha, sometimes even after I correct them, they will continue to call them "she" - that's what makes me laugh the most.

When people do that to Moose (he is tiny with a lot of hair) I always turn him over and say to them....oh I thought this was a penis...my mistake...:eek:

HAHAHA!!!!

I get that all the time which bothers me a little. Not because Kaji will have a sex identity crisis, but because I keep him cut short and (please forgive me) his manliness is pretty prominent. All you need is a profile view and WHOOP There It Is!

Yep, I have that problem on both sides as I have a "he" and a "she". They'll either think they are both girls or both boys...he he. Even when I say "HIS name Is Boomer and HER name is Muffin" Good thing they are too busy playing to hear it. :)
