Name for second baby...concerns Alright guys and gals, this may sound a little strange but hear me out :aimeeyork my first yorkie is name Wookie and is a boy i am planning to expand my little family and add a little girl (with much insistence from my husband ) and we were wanting to call her Sookie. are the names too similar for the dogs to understand? am i thinking too much about this? my husband says the dogs will be fine and that im underestimating them.:confused: Wookie and Sookie do sound very similar your replies are all welcomed! :animal-pa thanks for listening! |
I love both of the names. I would worry about them being sounding alike but that is just me. I am intereseted to see what others say. It may work out just fine. I don't know I just posted because I like the names;) |
My daughter has 2 Bichons and their names are Ollie & Polly and they seem to do fine with the names. I like Wookie & Sookie. |
ya sookie is a cute name huh? we came up with another name; how does Penny sound? now we are debating lol |
So many decisions:D I still like Sookie better then Penny for a name. But I promise to think she is adorable with any name she has;) |
I have read that the name of a pet should not sound like another dog or family members name as it is very confusing to the dog. |
Well...look at it this way, when you call they will both come running! LOL |
