I agree about the Dawn....it works. For those who don't know: Be careful to get the "plain" old orig version of blue Dawn. There are so many out there.....some blue versions are really strong. The only place I could find here was Family Dollar.

Corn Starch - is great for getting out mats. Feels silky while rubbing into the mat & helps to pull the hair apart to detangle while working on one at a time, of course. I use a huge beach towel underneath. It is kind of messy, but works!
I need some clarity about the blue dawn...How would I know what the original is, as compared to "some blue versions are really strong"?

I use to use the bitter apple with my boxers to try to keep them from chewing on the furniture, but it did not work for them. Maybe it is because they are larger. Have you had success with it with your yorkie? I wonder how long the taste lasts because I very rarely see her chewing on it. She is a sneeky little thing.

I use to keep a cat collar with bell on my Yorkie, but she got to the chewing stage and was always trying to get it off so I was afraid she would choke if she succeeded.

Thanks for your help, I always appreciate suggestions.

I was wondering the same thing. I picked up some last night and I'm going to try it today. I got the Original Scent. It's a little strong smelling, but not like other Dawn dishwasing liquids I've smelt. I'll let you know how it works out.:)

I haven't noticed any fleas on Zoey but she has been itching a little. Not a ton but a little and when I hold her I notice I get itchy too and I've noticed some little red bites on me. So, I think she may have a few fleas even though I use Frontline Plus monthly on her! It is that time though when the fleas are really prevalent.

I made "Oops" buckets,a plastic bin filled with everything I need for cleaning up accidents: paper towels, plastic bags, natures miracle. I put one in my bedroom and one in the kitchen for easy access.
