ears Hi i am new here, and i am the proud mom of an 11 week old little boy yorkie named ranger. He is the love of my life and i have had him since he was 6 weeks old. I am wondering if anyone knows what you can put in their ears if they get water in them like after a bath? Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
I suppose you should set the blowdryer on cool or low warm and hold it back far enough that it won't burn the ears so that the air can dry their ears. There is a powder you can buy at the pet supply stores that you can put in them that helps to keep them dry. You should put cotton balls in the ears if you can't keep water out of them during a bath. That will help. Good luck. :) |
I just read my reply again and I think I need to clarify it some more. :) After a bath, I always dry my puppy's ears on low warm. I just make sure I hold the dryer back far enough that it can't possibly burn them. The powder I spoke of is a powder to help keep your puppy's ears dry the rest of the time. You only need this if your puppy is prone to ear infections. Sorry if I didn't make myself very clear in the first response. Good luck with your puppy! :) |
