He's Baaaacccck! Higgins is home and has already pooped on the floor! :( Let me tell you, the surgery hasn't slowed him down one iota! He is going full blast and has already bugged me with his tug sock. He has pain meds to be given once a day, and his stitches are invisible and will be absorbed. Got a cute little blue tag with his chip. He's ALMOST done! Now we have to take all this infor down to city hall and get him licensed! We are soooooo glad to have him home! :D :D :D |
Good to hear! Those little ones have way too much energy! Enjoy the weekend with the little man! |
welcome home Higgins Glad he is back and all is normal....Don't you wonder what he thought when night fell and you were not there?........ alllllllll night........? Max doesn't even like for me to go to the store  ...haven't spent the night away yet.... Max's mom |
Buncha spoiled MOMMIES! :) Just kiddin', that's good, when we first went on vacation, we took him to his babysitter's on a random night for a "test run" first, just to let him get accustomed to it! |
He was soooooo glad to see us! He sort of cried a bit and trembled and kissed us all over. Then he saw the two big Bassett Hounds and the Standard Poodle in the waiting room and forgot all about us! He LOVES other dogs and just loves to go to vet's for that reason. He calmed right down, gave Pogo an enthusiastic greeting in the car and then everything was as normal as could be. |
Oh yeah....forgot to mention that all his baby teeth are still "firmly intact" with no adult teeth appearing anywhere yet, so they didn't remove any while he was under. Guess he's a late "loser." |
Enjoy the weekend. Yeah, getting teeth removed makes em "down" for a day or two, as they do feel the pain after the anesthesia wears off. |
The vet gave us pain medication for Higgins to be given once a day. Sure doesn't seem like he needs it this morning.....He's rarin' to go! But I'll give it to him, at least through the weekend. |
