Am I a Crazy Dog Lady!?
 
So today my boyfriend and I were going into petsmart and their was a lady coming out we passed her on the way in and noticed she was kissing her little pomeranian and holding a conversation with it... I looked at my boyfriend and I was like "WOW shes CRAZY" Then my boyfriend looked at me and said, We do the SAME thing... It never really occured to me because I look at bailey and layla as my children and not just dogs so when I talk to bailey and tell her she looks gorgeous and kiss her I think no biggie shes my baby but to other people I must look crazy! Hehe So funny...

That is funny. I do the same thing. I talk to Boomer and my Bailey just like I do my 3 skin kids.

Well is talking, kissing and lovin' up our little ones makes you a crazy dog lady then you are not alone! We need to order those straightjackets in bulk for all of the other crazy dog ladies/men that hang out on TY :D

You can't be the crazy dog lady because I'm the crazy dog lady. My inlaws think I'm a total wack job. I talk to my dogs like they are 2 year olds, all baby talk and I'm their mommy. Hubby says it's empty nest syndrome but my children are still at home. However they are ages 20 and 16 so maybe he is right, just a bit.

i kiss my puppy on her face (not mouth) - but i have always thought a crazy dog lady symptom is when you see the dog licking them on their face/mouth area.

just my opinion, but i think that's a little crazy - and i've seen people let their dogs do it.

I totally talk to my boys!!! We do have lovely conversations... I think there's nothing crazy about the way I treat my boys, and I reserve the right to have at least two more dogs if I would like them (will someone please inform my husband of this? Greatly appreciated!!!):D

and yes, I allow them to kiss my face...not my lips, but my face, yes. and of course they receive kisses back!!!

I think I'll join the "Crazy Dog Lady" club. Actually, there is a club like that on YT! Anyway, today we were having a lovely conversation with my mom, dad, brother and myself. Kaji just had a haircut last night and his hair is short and today it was gloomy and kind of cold. So in the middle of our conversation, Kaji walks up to me and taps my leg and shakes a little to let me know he's cold. Of course, I shot up, grabbed one of his blankies, and settled him in for a nap. My mom said, "Really? He's not cold." Of course doggy mommies always know best. :p
About half an hour later we are still carrying on our conversation and Kaji grumbles because he's not getting enough attention. So I pick him up from my lap, still wrapped up like a baby and start baby talking to him and kissing his face. I happened to catch my mom looking at me like I'm NUTSO! I stopped only because her look made me feel weird.

Yes, well...I talk to mine like they can understand me...and Charlie thinks I gave birth to him. So, yes, I'm a crazy dog lady.

LOL! When I baby talk to Sugar, my mum joins the conversation, she's good at baby talk :p

oh god the dogs are totally my babies marsha (16) and kodi (10) once told the adoption worker(they are my brother and sister i was just awarded full custody) that they loved life but if i got one more dog they might have to give up a bedroom and sleep together the lady just laughed but i was upset we would move into a new bigger house first and have a bigger yard as a bonus i talk to the dogs and dress them and do all those crazy things

lol my Son told me today that I spend more money on the dogs than I ever did him. lol so not true...........I said to him well at least they don't talk back! ;)
