Ham can cause pancreatitis. I know this is usually what my family cooks for Easter dinner. Be careful with the bubblegum too because if it has xylitol in it, then it can be deadly. |
If you go to the Health & Diet sticky in the forum index and read you will find a list of many items (too many to mention in this reply) that are dangerous and deadly for yorkies. You may want to print it out so your entire family will also know what to steer clear of. There are also many indoor & outdoor plants to keep your pup away from. :animal-pa |
A couple of weeks ago, My Husband and me had a scare with Pixie. My husband had these Dark Chocolate Hershery squares on an end table 3 of them and walked away from it. I came down to watch TV and noticed that there was an empty wrapper on the floor and Pixe had one in her mouth. We believe she ate 2 of the squares. We call the emergency vet office and between them and us she had eaten about .75 oz of chocolate or 2 squares. They told us to induce vomiting by giving her a 1/2 teaspoon of perioxde ever 10 to 15 mins and no more then 3 times. After the 2nd time it work and she vomited up the chocolate. Told us to do it a 3rd time to make sure that everything was clear and it is. She is doing great. So word of advise watch chocolate around your babies.:yorkiesar |
This is a list of foods your baby should not have. Very helpful! :) These little ones can be so creative and sneaky when they want something. Good Luck! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...oods-dogs.html |
