I can't wait to see the pictures! Sounds like a fantastic breeder that knows the importance of why a baby needs to stick around with its momma for a little while longer! I know it's hard to wait but soon your little one will be home with you! Have a great day and I hope to see you around YT!! |

Welcome to Yorkie Talk Welcome to Yorkie Talk you will love it here. Everyone that I have met is so nice and very helpful. I can't wait to see a picture of your precious Olivia. I know from experience that it is so hard waiting for her to come home. Just remember, it will be just like having a little baby around the house. I didn't realize that at first. She will keep you very busy. I love every minute with my Calleigh. She will love her so much. :) |
Welcome to Yorkietalk, I'm so glad you found a breeder that follows the YTCA guidelines of a minimum of 12 weeks; so many breeders just want to follow state law, which is often 8 weeks, and doesn't take into account the needs of the toy breeds. I agree with cslat1 (Carol) and it is like bringing home a baby, get your sleep now, it may be interrupted for the next three or so months. What an exciting time, one of the best things I did was buy a pack of receiving blankets, and let the breeder rub each blanket over mama. I kept the blankets in a bag, and if he'd soil one, I was able to wash it and put it in the bag with the other "scented" blankets, I really think this helped him adjust to our house. |
Howdy! Welcome to YT! I am so excited for you. Sounds like you have found a breeder who really knows their stuff, after all they sent you here! :) Hope to see you around YT and can't wait to see pictures of you little addition. |
Hi Alicia, congrats! =0) Hi Alicia~ I'm new here too! Congratulations on the adoption of your little Olivia! She sounds precious. We were 'Yorkie-less' for 6 years...that is until a few days ago! We are now the proud owners of 3! Our human children are grown and we have a bit of extra time, so we thought it's time to add a Yorkie, or two, or three...LOL! :D They are precious and each of them have distinct personalities. As soon as I find my way around here better, I will post picture. I can't wait to see your lovely 'Olivia'! Bye, bye..Ingrid :) (Lancelot, Sassy and Crickett) |
