Help he wont quit mounting my girl Anyone have any suggestions on how to get Cody to stop mounting my girl yorkie. She is 2 1/2 and spayed and he will get neutered on Tuesday but he wont quit mounting her. I said no Cody and clap my hands trying to get him to stop or I will him up. Any suggestions I dont want this to continue. |
It's a natural but embarasing! My female poodle does that to the female cat! It's a domenance thing I guess! Just stop him with a no, that's all I do! Good luck:) |
One of my chihuahuas does that to my huge Maine Coon cat! It is a hoot but embarrassing too. In her case it is definitely dominance. |
Hahaha these posts are too funny... Samy humps his baby bed (he is now as big as the baby bed) and throws it around and eventually drags it to his big bed/house and starts to hump it inside (he goes mad over it)... he now even tries to take his baby bed to the couch but I do not let him... |
yes us too axel humps his bed and his favorite bear! not to bad! we just ignore it for now. |
Thats funny my Heff humps his bed 2 and I can't get him to stop. He was neutered at 5 months don't know why he is doing this only to his bed he will not go near a famale. LOL |

Diji humps my arm!!! He is only 3 months and he started doing it about 2 weeks ago. The first time he did it we were all dying of laughter but now it's becoming a bit of a problem. I can't sit on the couch and relax with him cause once we comfortable he goes for my arm! |

What cracks me up is when my husband and I are laying in bed, the boys in the kennel, and we all of a sudden hear a "thunk thunk thunk..." of Tank humping his little stuffed doggy...Joey will sometimes get angry and growl for waking him up...SO funny!!! They are both being neutered on the 18th of this month (yes, a sunday). |

Sophie Kate (yes a girl) mounts my arm at times still. It is a dominance thing. When I was a new Yorkie owner I asked my vet and she said the best thing is to remove her from what ever she is "mounting/humping" (my arm) and not to make a big deal. It is very embarassing, she does it when we have company and if I am not paying enough attention to her. |
