Peeing while running Anybody ever have this happen: Walker, my 2 yr old yorkie, will run around the furniture, make circles through the kitchen and couch and pee at the same time! It's not that I don't let him out every hour and it's not like he's not potty trained. But the last few weeks he's been doing this. I won't let him have unlimited access to water any more now. I don't know if this is just a seasonal thing, because he wants to be outside ALL THE TIME. After being cooped up all winter I know what he means. But this is too much! I've never seen this much pee come out of any of my dogs! This happens now at least 2-3 times a week and I'm so frustrated!!! Help, please!! |
I have no idea...but your description made me laugh!:D |
I will bump this because I too have no clue. That must be awful for you! It made me laugh with the way you wrote it also, but I know it has to drive you crazy! I hope someone can help...;) |
Sometimes my girls will walk when getting caught in the act. They make a bolt for the door, while peeing at the same time. I think because they know they are in trouble - but it just makes more of a mess for me to clean! However it doesn't really sound like this is the case for your little guy. Have you talked to your vet about this? It could be a medical issue, maybe he is having problems holding it, or doesn't realize he is going. |
O have no idea, but it can't be that easy to do, not that I ever tried it! |
I'm wondering, too, if it could be a medical problem, especially since it has just started. Not sure if you really want to limit water intake. Need to okay that with your vet, IMO. ~Joanne~ |
