Before and after pics of rescued yorkies 4 Attachment(s) I have been wanting to start a thread for before and after pics of all the resuced yorkies. I just love seeing how a lot of love and attention can transformed this little ones into beautiful yorkies. I'll be the first...introducing Brandi. My rescued of two years. 1-this pic was taken on the day I took her to the groomers. I had to wait until I was able to get her to the vet before taking her to the groomer. She stunk so bad I gave her several baths to no avail. She stunk up the whole house! 2-this pic was taken after we left the groomers. Her coat was so matted and so filthy that the only thing the groomer could do was cut it all off. 3-this is Brandi as she is today....healthy, happy and very spoiled. 4-I couldn't leave out my 12 yr old cat who was rescued from the streets at the tender age of 6 weeks. There you have at.....Zoey and Brandi (also known as Garfield and Odie). Your turn! |
Wonderful Idea! I loved seeing these pictures. It is almost like watching a dream come true for this rescued furbaby. They put a tear in my eye and a song in my heart. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story with all of us. You are an angel!:) |
Thank you.....I love seeing the transformations. It's amazing what love can do! see what you made me do......now I'm getting all mushy :p. |
Wonderful pictures of your baby! Thank you for taking her in and giving her all the love she so deserves! Here is a really great thread that has all kinds of stories and pictures of YT members with rescues/rehomes.:) I think it is time to bump it back up again. :) http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...ed-yorkie.html |
What a beautiful yorkie and story! It makes me so happy that there are people who have hearts to take in a wonderful pet that had to live in such horrid conditions. Good for you for all that you do!:):thumbup::thumbup: |
I want to see some pics of your rescued furbabys! Where is everyone with all the pics! |
Hi Thank you for rescuing Zoey and Brandi ( Garfield and Odie). They are adorable. I have rescued a few Yorkies but also have rescued over 300 animals and I do have pictures of most of them. Ill have to dig through the cd's and get a few off there to share. Thanks again for sharing your pictures with us. |
1 Attachment(s) Well, here's one pic with a before and after together from the ytnr website. She had bladderstones, and in the first pic where her eyes are closed was the night I picked her up. She was dripping blood it was so bad. She was in soooo much pain. She was trying to pee and it came out 100% blood red, not even pink. Now she's great! The other pics are the first time we took her out for a playdate. She's 6 yrs old but plays like a puppy! Probably the first time in a long time she's felt so good! I got her bathed and conditioned, and her cottony coat is so soft now. She loves to be brushed too!:) |
It's amazing what a little love and care can actually do!! Such a simple thing that does so much :) |

I do believe my little ones are here to show me how to have more empathy not only for animals but for people as well. |
4 Attachment(s) Oh your Brandi is precious!! Here are some pics of our little rescue Camden! The pics can't really paint the true and accurate picture of how awful she was when we got her! First two are the before. Third is after being pretty much shaved down and the last one is now! |
:) I love to see these transformations. Congratulations to all of you who rescue. It's plain to see what a little love can do. These yorkies are precious. |

Thanks! That pillow is one of her favorite spots!! I really did think the groomer gave us back a different dog, she was 180 from the way she was dropped off! |
2 Attachment(s) I LOVE this idea! Thanks for starting it! I have posted these before but here is our little Gracie. When we got her she was all skin and bones with a really bad flea allergy. She had chewed on and pulled out most of her hair where she could reach. She wouldn't look us in the eye. We got her fur to grow in and her confidence to build up and she has turned into a bossy little diva! Her fur is shiny and healthy. |
I love this post! We need more positive posts. God Bless all those people who rescue animals! I think you all have big hearts and deserve the utmost respect!!;) |
