Behavior after breeding? A friend of mine has a female Yorkie, and we wanted to mate my boy with her girl since we both want more yorkies for each other. My question is, will Rockys behavior change after mating, he doesn't hum, doesn't lick himself in any way, and is not hyper at all. Also, how do these terms work out, I dont want to leave my pup there and I am sure she doesn't want to do the same. All puppies are spoken for so no worries there. They will all go to family or family members. I am not 100 % sure about doing this, which is why I am asking. We both want out dogs puppies which is why we are considering this. |

I wouldn't do it. Your boy is going to start humping and wanting females. He will start marking inside your house as well so he will need to be in a belly band all the time. It's not worth it. I would fix him and buy another pup! |
I agree with Yorkie Mama. There is a thread prepared for those who are considered breeding. Read, take in the information, and decide if it is something you would want to do. I once wanted to do the same because it would be cute to have puppies running around. After reading up on it, I decided it's not for me, way to many risks.
