Very strange Its kind of funny but my 4 month old yorkie sometimes walk against the walls...do anyone know why she would be doing this? |
maybe she is itching...could be due to some sort of allergy. |
My Holly does that when she is wearing clothes or when I just give her a bath. |
Thanks you guys,it makes sense about the allergies.i washed her lil blanky.their so sensitive any ideas on what i can wash her things with? (detergent) i said i was gonna try a baby detergent being their usually hypoallergenic |
Yeah...maybe baby detergent would work. My boys only do that when they're trying to dry themselves after they have a bath...they go up against our couch, but then they'll run to the other side of the room and rub against the wall...silly furbutts! I just use regular detergent for my boys' blankets and towels, and we haven't had an issue that I'm aware of :) Now that it's come up, though, I hope I'm not causing any issues that I don't know of! Good luck to you! |
If she does it a lot and it's not related to having a bath or allergies - you might want to get her checked out by a Vet and some blood testing done. Not to alarm you, and this is probably not it, but that is one sign of liver problems. Does it happen after she eats? |

Calleigh does this also Hi Calleigh does the same thing when she is itchy. She also rolls over and rubs her head and body on the ground. What kind of shampoo do you use???? Food allergies??? only guessing.... http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/a...h/e15a9ead.gif:animal-pa |
Smokey does this when he's wet or really excited. After greeting me or whoever walks in the door, he'll get up on the back of the couch and go back and forth against the wall and intermittently rub his face on the couch. |
Is she rubbing against the walls? Yorkies are perimeter dogs, my older one will walk the perimeter of our bedroom before she goes to sleep, she will also do the perimeter of the yard when she first gets outside. I think she wants to make sure all is safe. |
When is she walking against walls? After baths? After meals? Randomly? That might help you determine what the problem is. |
