Sweet bank tellers give out dog treats! I live in a very small town and use a local bank. Anyway, our bank tellers (some of whom I've known my whole life) give out treats to kids at the drive through windows if the Mother says it's ok. A couple of years ago they started giving dog treats to "furkids" in the car also. Diva goes crazy when I say "Do you want to ride to the bank?" She 'knows' that she's going to get a treat and the girls at the bank just think she's the prettiest thing that they have ever seen. Yesterday, we had to go through the second line, instead of the window. When the girl came over the intercom to say hi, Diva barked and gave a little whine to make sure they knew she was in the car. It was so cute. Of course she got her treat and plenty of praises from the girls inside. Sometimes it amazes me how smart these Yorkies are. Does anyone elses bank treat their "fur" customers this kindly? |
Haha, that is so cute! :) |

My bank also gives out treats for the "furkids" however my babies are way too good for those treats...They sniff them and then turn away and act like the treats are going to bite them..lol. The tellers giggle about it and tell me that my "furkids" are the only picky pooches they deal with. I add that they are like their mummy..:D |
My bank does as well. They will ask first. I feel bad because I don't think mine like the treats. They wind up burying it in their carseat. lol I usually tell the teller no, but if we are going somewhere far, I will get one so they are occupied on the ride. |
Diva's such a porky yorkie ( my daughter's name for her ) that she won't turn down much of anything, lol. The treats my bank gives look like little pieces of meat. They are pretty soft and apparently tasty. Diva thinks they are the best, lol. My Mom's yorkie/schauzer mix loves them also. He gets super excited when we mention going to the bank. I guess I've got a really good bank!! |
Mine are used to freeze dried chicken treats so the banks "Scooby Snacks" just do not cut it for mine... |
when we order pizza sometimes the one lady always brings little dog milkbones...but martini never eats them haha!! she gets all excited when she gets them..but then walks away from them!! |
I love it when local business recognize pets like that. Our bank gives out treats too. They must get a lot of Great Danes come through, because I swear these dog biscuits are the size of a candy bar. I have to break it into about six pieces so it lasts a while. LOL. It's the thought that counts. |
Not only does our bank hand them out, so does Chick-fil-A! Of course Twinkie hates them! If they would hand out little pieces of real chicken, she would be all over that!:) |
Bentley and I go to the bank, almost every day! They have treats that make him tummy sick:(, so I now deliver his treats, which no one else gets, in a little plastic box labeled "Bentley's Bits":D. They are put in a special place (where ever we were last:rolleyes:) ... when we arrive there is a scurrying, to locate the BITS! lol |
I was surprised how many places have dog treats for doggies ridding in the car. A couple fast food places give treats out here which is nice because then Callie has something to eat while I eat. They think Callie is so cute sitting in her dog car seat. Some of the banks around here do it also. In the county where my mom lives almost every drive thru has doggie treats. |

We go to the bank every Friday. Well today I am waiting on my camera to come, I didnt get Muffy and Buddy dresses and take them with me this morning so I could rush and get back. Well I got in all kinds of trouble!! The ladies at the window said dont you know that makes our Fridays so much better.:p I told them I had learned my lesson and would bring them from now on. They tried treats but my two had nothing to do with them. |
My bank does that, too, but she can't eat them. They're just too hard for her taste! Anyway, she likes to go in a visit the girls!:D |
