My yorkie gained weight.... I was supposed to get Rucker neutered a month ago, but he only weighed 3.4 lbs and they suggested I put it off a month to see if he would gain weight. When I dropped him off at the vet's this morning for the surgery, he weighed 4.2 lbs. Wahoo! That's almost exactly a pound in just one month! He's 22 weeks old...hopefully he will put on another couple lbs before he has finished growing. According to the growth chart he should be only 5.5 lbs when he is full grown, but I forsee him being bigger than that. Also...please keep the little guy in your thoughts today. My girls are already missing him so much (and I am too!!) |
 Awww, best wishes to your little man with his surgery! Mine won't be due for another few months but I too will be dreading "the day". |
Wahoo!!! my guy is small to and i had to put his neuter off for a few months. and now i cant bring my self to do it. i cant lose him and that my biggest fear. i think and hope he is now 4 lbs..that's what my scale at home says anyways. sending prayers to your little man and to a speedy recovery! |

Rucker is home! My little one is home! He is pretty still, but awake and walking around when he needs to. He is also shaking a lot more than normal. I have him cuddled up in a blanket. He's not eating much, but he did try. Hopefully he'll wake up tomorrow all better. |
I will keep him in my thoughts.. I am sure the procedure will go wonderfully! |
Oh so glad he is home with you......poor baby. I will keep him in my prayers tonight...{{hugs}} |
