When Buzz first came to live w/us, he tried jumping (and humping) on Apple for a few days, and she wasn't having any part of it, and he finally stopped (she's spayed)...Everyone said it was just a dominance thing, and, apparently, Apple was going to be the dominant one, as she is...About the constant peein'...Buzz, the boy, goes one real real long pee, about every 3 or 4 hrs., during the day, and holds it all night (he's 8 months old), and Apple (the girl) will pee, everytime I go out the back door...So, ya' never know...I know you are overwhelmed, at the mo, but I hope you read my post in the your other thread, about taking time to adjust...It'll get better :) |

Good Luck with your new little boy! They really are tiny loves to their mommas! :D |
My boy Hot Rod marks everywhere he can--outside. He was fixed, however at 6 1/2 mos. He also is constantly smelling Maggie's privates and biting/nibbling her all over. I can't tell if she likes it or not! Sometimes she'll run over to me as if she's trying to get help and other times she just sits there and let's him dowhatever! He even tried humping her head last night--it jus happened that she rolled over in the sofa seat and he got her head, lol So to answer your question, he will eventually settle down but I would imagine that he will hve some wild hairs to sow yet. And, yes, Hot Rod is soooo much a mommas boy. I wind up holding him at the vet appts instead of he techs. lol |
congrats on the new addition!!! He's peeing so much because he's marking his territory. He will not become disinterested in your girl's privates, because he is intact. However - if/when you do get him fixed, it should at least help with those issues. I can't say it will completely get rid of it all, but it won't be as bad. Good luck! |
