Will Bella Slow Down? Ever? Hi, Bella is now 15 months old and the LOVE of OUR lives. We never knew our puppy could give us so much in such a short time. She is our very first dog and I must say that we have become total dog people and just love it. Bella is always on the go and only sits still when she is tired at the end of the day. She loves to play, walk, and run. I was wondering when she might slow down and be a little less active because she is such a sweetie that I know she would make a great dog for visiting kids in the hospital. I want to get her trained as a therapy dog, but wonder when he activity level will decrease so this would be fun for her. Any info you have would be appreciated.:):) |
Awwww it sounds like Bella is just one happy and healthy Yorkie little girl. I think around two you'll see a slight, yes slight LOL, difference. They tend to start settling down at that time, however still active but maybe more settled during the evening, just when you need it. At least that's what Buddy did. Honestly, I couldn't wait.:p |
Well Alfie is 21 months on friday and is finally calming a little, but he does have miss Rosie bugging him alot, at 1 year she's still in that annoying,, exhausting teenage tomboy stage, so he doesn't always get to be as good as he could. Poor boy is so easily led astray. |
Ha-ha! Well, some of them never slow down. My Muffin was a high-energy yorkie and could go and go and go!:D |
Most of mine slowed down at about 15 months. |
Thomas is still going 90 mph all day! :woof::exclaim: |
mine goes from sun up to sun down...only stops to bark. |
I think it all probably depends on the individual dog. My yorkie is playful most of the time but she also loves to settle down and cuddle for a while and she's 2 years old. |
