Lexi is loosing her fluff....

Lexi has been a little fluffy, and I have been noticing in the last month or so that she is slowly loosing her fluff. :( Her hair is starting to lay really flat. Even though it looks and feels very soft and smooth, it's not as fluffy. I love her fluffy face, what is going on? Her hair isn't getting thin, just straighter.

Here are some pics, it's hard to tell though cuz, I tried blowdrying her to get some fluff back. (it did help a little it just didn't last long)

Awww, thank you... My husband thinks she was just late loosing her puppy coat, and that she looks and feels better...

Awww, she is just bee-u-ti-ful! I love her coat. I guess it's what you get used to but it really is gorgeous that way too. She's a doll.

thanks ya'll, hehe I just noticed in the 2nd pic she was getting ready to doze and the way she is hunched makes her look chuncky. LOL

I think your husband is correct. Her adult coat is coming in. It looks as though she is going to be a nice shiny silk Lexi.

I always thought silky was a good thing for yorkies. At least show Yorkies.

How old is Lexi? Her hair is a little longer than Susan's so I'm thinking she's a little older. Susan is almost 5 mos.

lexi looks great!!!! I have noticed the same thing with gracie!!! It is sad...she just doesn't look like a puppy anymore :(

Thanks everyone, Lexi is 10 months old and growing up so quick. I know silky is desired, but I love the cottony/fluffier coat. Her hair would be a bit longer if she hadn't been chopped on in the past...

Again thanks, we think she is beautiful no matter what, doesn't mean I'm not going to miss her fluff though...

She looks beautiful! Maybe thats her normal yorkie coat coming in...

Lexi is still gorgeous!! Im seeing the same happen with Chelsey's hair, shes also 10 months old, that baby look is gone awwww - but i still have little Chanel with fluffy face to enjoy till she grows up ...
