Problem with Bell Okay, This is gross and I need help. Lilly is Bell's daughter. Like most mothers, they clean their young, poop and pee. But Lilly is 4 months old now and Bell is eating her poop. I know this is not uncommon. But how do you stop it?? I saw on a website somewhere??? of a medication I can give her to stop this. Does anyone have a clue as to what I can do or where I can find this medication! Help, Just the thought makes me sick!! |
Not a clue here, but I'm sure you will get an answer soon. hmmmmmmmmmmmm I wish I could help. :) |
I have no idea. Our mother dogs stopped cleaning up the mess once they was done nurseing. |
I have heard that feeding them pineapple will make the poop taste bad, so you would have to feed it to Lilly and then maybe Bell would not eat it....Good luck! ;) |
Harley used to eat his own poo ... thank god he stopped. SO GROSS! I never bought it, but my vet said he had some stuff I could get from him or I believe you can buy something at pet stores to mix with their food. The vet said its the protein in the poo that attracts some dogs to eat it. |
