So, take the a/i fee which can vary from vet to vet but I am going to say $300 to include testing of the semen and actual insemination, $1500 for a c-section, $300 for puppy care (averaging about 3 puppies a litter) and you are at $2100 up front... now, say one of those puppies dies because the mother sits on it and you are now down to 2. You can advertise the puppies for $1800 and if all goes well and you sell the puppies you make $3600 - 2100 which puts you at $1500 - now this is with the exception that you have the stud and didn't have to pay a stud fee, and no hidden costs popped out of the woodwork, and i forgot about the registration papers and food to feed the puppies and their mom who will be eating more while nursing. Oh and most bulldogs require bottle feeding round the clock because their mothers can easily squish them to death.
BULLDOGS ARE NOT AN EASY BREED TO BREED. PERIOD. However, no one should go into breeding for profit, they should see that they have a good sire or dam that could pass good genes on to create other healthy yorkies.

Well, I guess if the bull dogs don't work out she will move on the another breed, she said labs next because they give birth to a lot of puppies. I wish she would find another way to make money...something legitimate...
