New Yorkie owner Hello Everyone, I just became the proud owner of a male yorkie last weekend. Cody is 10 weeks and a great puppy. I have so many questions. I was told when I bought him from the pet store that he needs to be feed twice a day. I have been doing alot of reading since bringing Cody home and I just read that he's supposed to be feed three times daily. I'm sooooo confused on what to do. I would appreciate any advice anyone can offer. Thanks  |
I got Saphira at 10 weeks and was very adamite about her eating 3-4 times a day. She is very tiny and with yorkies you always have to be worried about hypoglycemia...plus at that age I don't think you can feed to much but it can be very dangerous to feed to little. Congratulations on your new baby:D!!! |
When Sophie was that young and even now I free feed her kibble. She has her food and water down all the time so whenever she feels like eating she can and I don't have to worry about her not getting enough to eat:). Congratulations on your new puppy!!! |
New Yorkie owner Thanks thats what i thought i just needed it confirmed. I think they're to little to be eating that much.Cody barely finishes all his food. Once I'm able to get a good picture of him I'll share him with everyone. Thanks Cody, & Jasmine :yorkietal |
