new person Hi my name is Cissie, I have a yorkie, a lady was moving back to Florida in June (2009) so she gave us "Dande" she is something else, I was gone today and she usually goes to her pee pads and does her job, not today, she thought she needed to pee in our bedroom, how can I get her to stop.. Here I thought she was doing so good, she goes outside. I am not use to a yorkie, I have always had a shih tzu.... Hope to chat with some of you later. |

Some questions others might ask: How old is she? Was she trained on both when you got her or to just go outside? How long were you gone? Was this the first misstep on her part?:) I would add that if she isn't totally trained yet that you will need to confine her to a smaller area when you are gone. |
Welcome to YT! :) |
Hello and Welcome to YT! |
Congrats on your new baby! I have learned many things here and I know you will too. My baby Twinkie has been trained on potty pads. When I take her for a walk she will pee all over the place and she has even pooed outside! She has had a couple accidents inside. I just place her on the potty pad and praise her bunches when she goes. Train, train, train...:) Good Luck! |
yes, I would confine her to a smaller area while you cannot watch her. I have an expen that has their beds and potty pad. Best of luck to you and congrats on you new baby. :) |
HI!! and welcome to YT!!! can't wait to see pics of your baby!!! as for potty training, you may want to look under the training forum. it may give you some ideas:) |
Welcome to YT! I love yorkies and shih tzu's but honestly, yorkies just have always stolen my heart! |
