My Daizey was Missing I have had no sleep and one of my yorkies got out of the fenced yard yesterday and she is pregnant. Dis all the searching till 11 pm last night, called security in my subdivision, animal controll, knocked on doors, all the vets and nothing. Late last night i got a phone call from a customer of mine they thought the dog they seen at the water dept. where i live , was mine. I own a dog grooming salon and my customers see my dogs all the time. Anyway they told the people that took her home where they thought she belonged and they did not put any effort into finding her home. I think they wanted to keep her....They did leave a number at the water dept. and i put signs up offering reward. I called her this morning and she acted like she didn't want to give her back. She took her to the groomers yesterday and bought her a new collar the whole thing. I am very thankfull for her taking her in, but the attitude she gave like i mistreat my dogs was BS. We live in a 300,ooo home and it was just an accidient that she gut under the fence and went 2 blocks from home, thru the mud so she probably did look neglected being it had rained. She really hurt my feelings making that response. What do you think a fair reward would be the the lady. I cried for hours looking for her and no amount would be enough to get her back....but did she have to be so rude on the phone. My Daizey will be home in less than an hour, my prayers were answered!!!! |
i am so glad there is a happy ending to this....i am still fighting the battle of Yoshi taking off...and it's been over a year and still don't know where he is.... |
She should NOT have been rude to you, I would be so happy to reunite a dog with their owner... she may have started to fall in love over night and therefore she is upset that she now has to return the pup, this is no excuse for her actions but sometimes people let their emotions take over. I would reimburse her the cost of the grooming and maybe a little something extra for keeping the dog safe overnight. So glad you are getting a happy ending!:) |
She is home Daizey is home and I am soooo excitted....I gave her 100.00 and she brought her husband with her and put a deposit on a puppy. She fell in love with her and they have 3 bigger dogs and she always wanted a yorkie. So it all worked out and i am so happy she is home. |
Welcome Home Daizey :D I am so happy that you found your baby! :animal-pa |
Thank goodness for a happy ending!! I'm so glad that she is home.:) |
If Daizey was micro-chipped and you knew where she was, a quick call to the police would have had that solved without it costing you any money. People also tend to back down when you threaten them with Grand Theft charges. A microchip is priceless in a situation like this. I'm glad she's home. |
Yay!!! I sure do love happy endings. Glad it all worked out well. |
What a terrible scare. So happy Daisy is home safe and sound. |
Yay! I'm glad Daisy is home! :D |
Daizey Thank you everyone!!! now she has the runs, I'm sure because the lady gave her wet food and table scraps...thats what she told me...but she didn't know what food she was on. my poor baby has a belly ache. |
