Duncan knows! perfectly!

if u say "give me 5" and give out ur hand he will stretch out his left hand in the air, and high 5!
if u say " shake shake" and give out ur hand, he will give no responce at all!

Adorable! Jackson does shake and high-five (and ten-five, if that counts, for anything?) It's funny because it took him weeks to learn shake but everything else comes so easy to him. -bragging moment- he knows over 25 tricks now, I believe /bragging moment over. LOL. I'm proud of him. I think Yorkies are sooo much smarter than people give them credit for. Go Duncan!

Buddy does high 5 as well and shakes with the right paw first then immediately following with the left.

Our pups are just so well educated, don't you think?;)

Pixie is the same way. If you ask her to give you 5 she'll give you 5 and 5 high. Also is you ask her to shake she'll give her paw and shake hands with you. Her news trick is standing at the top of our stairs and rolls the ball down the steps and then my husband tosses it back to her and she'll bat it back to him with her nose. I do believe that Yorkies are very smart little dogs.

Aren't they the smartest furbabies you have seen?

Shay can do sit, stay,lay, and roll....lol soo cute, I cant stand it!

We are working on the shake...he is so small he falls over..lol..

Gunnar is 1&1/2. He will give 5 with either paw, sit, (lay) down, stay, leave it, give 10, sit pretty, dance. I cannot get him to roll over! DH will get him to lay and roll on his side for a belly rub. Any suggestions? I really him to roll over and do "bang bang". :rolleyes: Donna

way to go Duncan! This is the perfect time to teach him left hand and right hand. I see he gives out his left hand, he must be left handed, Uni is left handed too. :D

No way, it's awesome that Duncan does that! Duncan wins! I love when people trick train with their dogs. I think it's such an awesome fun bonding experience. :)
