Favorite Yorkie Antics Hi all, I really enjoyed the thread on "how did you know" that your Yorkie puppy was the one for you. This made me think a bit more, and I'm wondering what is your favorite yorkie antic or favorite yorkie memory? Thanks! :aimeeyork |
You didn't post your favourite yorkie antic. He loves to be under a small blanket & I sit beside him & knock on the floor & he goes crazy trying to find my hands. He just loves this game. It is so cute to watch. He never trys to get out of the blanket, he just loves it under there. I have never seen any other dog do this. |
Well I ddon't if you would call this antics but my boy is sooo smart. During one of our many snow storms I said out loud "let's see if it's still snowing.. turned around on my sofa, got on my knees to look out the window, well now every time I say "Bryan is it snowing outside" no matter what he is doing he will jump on the sofa walk around the back of the sofa to the window and look to see if it snowing. It actually very funny Lol!!! |
This isn't really an antic but Tobie burps so often and SO loud. I just don't think its ever going to *not* be funny when he is casually strolling across the living room and all of the sudden "BURP!!". LOL. One morning my husband was still asleep after me and the dogs got up. Tobie went back into the bedroom and my husband said he heard him walk up the doggy stairs and over to him. It got quiet after that so my husband opened one of his eyes to see what Tobie was doing. Tobie was just staring at him and as soon as my husband opened that eye, Tobie burped in his face and ran off super fast! LOL. He's such an awnry booger! |
Pixie loves to roll her ball down our stairs. My husband is at the bottom and he tosses it back to her and she'll bat it back down with her nose and will keep this up for what seems like hours. She loves playing this game.:yelrotflm |
Pixie has a thing with the bathroom everytime she hears the toilet flush she comes running and has to watch it go down, and also everytime I take a shower she peeks around the shower curtain and tries to drink the droplets of water. She makes me laugh to see this little head peek around the curtain. I really think she would jump in if she could. |
nurse Penny has become my little nurse im allergic to animals ( like that stops me ) soI sneeze and cough ALOT if im 3 rooms away and blow my nose she comes running to see if im ok if I sneeze she tries to lick my nose if I cough she stares at me until I start moving again...she very intune to me and likes to make sure im not sick |
Frimousse loves outfits and bows , if by mistake I don't tell her she is cute . She comes to me and give me a little growl . |
Every morning Gatsby will wake up and start to walk along my body if i move he jumps of and starts back down at the end when he gets up to my shoulders he starts to wine and lays down and belly crawls up to my head and lets out a noise that sounds kind of like chewbaca from starwars and will continue to make this noise until i open my eyes remember if i move at all he starts over so this takes like 20 min when i open my eyes he starts to bark i look at him and say you want to go potty he will jump off the bed run to the door and jump up at the knob like he is trying to get it open |
If Cricket sneezes then you fake sneeze, he sneezes again... you can play this game for a little while. Its so funny, if when you fake sneeze you move your head he moves his head the same way. |
Well I guess my favourite memory would be the day I first saw my first yorkie girl Myshkha. Her breeder came in with this tiny ball of fluff and put her on the floor, she bounced off around the room, then back over towards us before peeing on the floor and after relieving herself she grabbed her breeders shoelace and started killing it. She was just so cheeky, and she never lost it all her life. |
Gunnar sleeps in the bed with me, but on top of the covers. In the early morning, when he wants under the covers, he will touch his nose to my nose. kind of like "beep beep let me in". It's funny. I pretend I'm asleep so he will do it. :p Donna |
Buddy has an fettish for my nightgowns. No matter how big the pile of laundry is on the floor he will go threw it, scattering clothes all over, until he finds a nightgown and takes off with it. If there are none he will just walk away. This has amazed me for years. You can bury it to the bottom of the pile and he will find it, take it and run down the hall with it.:p |
My favorite is when Bilbo wants to go outside. He has to "ask" Mama and Daddy and gets so excited that he is bouncing from sofa to love seat to recliner until we finally say okay and go to the door. |
