You're right ... that's just WRONG on so many levels. |

i have to stop doing google searches for yorkies in the news i like to read the rescue stories but i keep finding horrible things |
very selfish of the owner, I agree with you, that was not right. poor angel |
Reprehensible!! Did it not occur to anyone how selfish an act this was? This two year old bundle of love could have brought love and comfort to a child who is terminally ill. My heart goes out to the vet also; how heartbreaking it must have been for him. I think he made the right decision though, no telling what sort of inhumane way this darling would have been subjected to leave. I'm quite certain that there could have been special arrangements made by the family to ensure that once this little one passed on naturally, he could have been placed with the maniac who requested this. Shame, shame, shame! |
How sad. I had read a thread something like this on here before and it to made me sick. how selfish and stupid of them. |
My husband's ex wife wants her dog euthanized and burried with her when the time comes...I asked her 'what if the dog goes first, does that mean you get euthanized so you can be burried with her?'. She didn't look at it the same when I put it that way. We have plans to have Boog's ashes burried with whichever one of us goes first but I would absolutely never have a dog euthanized just to have it burried with me. What a selfish, selfish thing to do. |
After I listened to the story I realized...all of my Biewers are around the 2 to 2 1/2 year old mark and they are so full of love and life...I just can't imagine cutting that short for no reason. |
I am far too old to be surprised by people's actions, however, the selfishness of this man has taken my breath away. How very sad. I am glad he didn't ask that one of his kids be buried with him. His family should have purchased a stuffed Yorkie to be buried with him and let this dog live. It's a hard enough decision to euthanize an animal when it is suffering and dying much less in this situation. What ever happened to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you?" |
I was just talking with my husband about this story and we agreed that his family should have taken his dog and loved it just as much as he did and when the dog dies then burry it with him. That would have been so much better. |
