boy dog pees on his clothes when i put shirts on davinci; the shirt gets wet when he pees. does this happen to your dog? i am wondering if i need to modify his clothes? thanks! :) |
Welcome to the wonderful world of boy dogs! :D Good boy dog clothes are shorter in the chest than they are in the back so the dog doesn't pee himself. |

the shirt is shorter in the front, but not short enough. are thor's shirts short enough on the front for him? or does he also still get pee pee on his shirts? |
I've never had this issue, thankfully! All of Jackson's shirts are like you said above, they are cut shorter in the back... but some are longer than others. Maybe it's just because Jackson is bigger? |

Just Pull up a little spot underneath & put a stitch. |

I did that with my boys when they were at that awkward size. |
I had that problem with Timba too... I hate it .. I have to take it off when I get upstairs and hand wash it... |
Have you ever worn a really oversized T-shirt and knotted it at the waist or at your ribcage? Do the same thing with his shirts. Pull them tight to fit and then wrap a rubber band around where you've pulled it up to "knot" it so it'll fit tighter around his waist. |

I've taken in some of his clothes, completely by hand (no sewing machine :( back then) but I never thought of just doing a stitch. |
I can't sew, so yes, Thor does pee on some of his clothes. I always make sure they are cut reeeally high in the front. I really think pet boutiques should accomodate this more. I've warned people sometimes when they are trying cute little sweatshirts on their boy puppies. |
I tried the stitching thing, but I didn't do it high enough, as Tank still pees on the sweater. I only have one cause Joey didn't like it, but Tank loves it...but he pees on it unfortunately. I have learned that he can wear it like 2 or 3 times if I use febreeze pet odor neutralizer on it after he pees on it. It just gets to a point that it grosses me out so I have to wash it...haha. |
