I knew I wanted a baby boy. I've always had boys. I had lost my 13 year old Chipper and had been crying since then. I knew that I wasn't going to be able to move on until I had another baby to love. I found a breeder checked her out and put a deposit on her up coming litter. Turns out that there were 3 baby girls in that litter. She said I didn't have to make a decision yet but once the puppies were 6 weeks for me to come and take a look at them. She said if I wanted one of the girls I could have the pick of the litter then. The 3 girls were absolutely beautiful and basically all looked the same except in size. There was a small, medium and large. I'm looking, thinking the small one is so cute. I'm sitting there with all 3 in front of me. I pick up the small one and medium jumps in my lap to play. I give both attention. Put both down little one walks away medium back in my lap. I set her aside pick up the large one and again medium girl jumps in my lap wanting all my attention. I fell in love right then and there with Piper (medium girl). When the day came for me to bring her home all three girls were still there and Piper (still medium sized) came running to me. It's as if she knew all along I was her mommy. I always tell people I didn't pick Piper out she picked me. I'm sure you'll know when you see your special baby that you're meant to be together.

She has picked one out for me, but said that I may come and see all four of the puppies. When we went to pick her later to bring her home, the whole litter (3 girls and a boy) was playing and tumbling around. One stopped when she saw me, and ran up to me wagging and wiggling. Then she went back to her litter mates and started playing and tumbling, kind of taking charge over the whole situation. Then she noticed my husband, and ran over to him to greet him, then back to the litter mates to take over again. She was the "docile" one I had picked out earlier, and WOW had she changed! What spunk, just like I wanted!

None of her litter mates ever stopped playing to greet us, so I felt it was meant to be, as if she had picked us out. She was just so personable with us.

Now, months later, I realize that she didn't pick us out at all. She is just VERY friendly with all people, and so excited to see everyone, even strangers. She's such a floozie! I like that she is so friendly, but she would be awfully easy to steal, so I really need to keep her "on a short leash," so to speak.

So next thing you know we are on the way back to the groomers to take a peek at all 3 of them.....well when i got there the 2 girls were in a playpen right by the front door for all the visitors to see....THEY WERE CRAZY silly little girls jumping and playing and fighting for the attention...So i asked "where is the little boy?" and he went to the back of the shop and brought him up...
HE WAS THE SWEESTEST LITTLEST, GENTLEST BABY BOY I HAD EVER SEEN...Immediately he looked at me and licked me I knew he was the one...he was so mellow and loving i felt his love just coming off his little furry body...Now, i have my gift from god....and thats what Jukka means......I'm so thankful that this little guy is in my life and that i have such an awesome boss!!!!
