So...
 
Well tomorrow is the big day, my baby girl is gettin spayed in the morning. I'm going to miss her so much! It is really going to break my heart to leave her at the Vet.=( I just wish it was Friday already so it would all be done and over with. I sure hope Payslee doesn't hate me after this is over with. lol.

Best wishes to Payslee and you --leaving the little ones at the vet is tough. Hang in there.

Best wishes to Payslee and you!! I know what you are going through!! I felt awlful when I got Nikki spayed and Gizmo neutered, but I will let you in on a little secret, they did better than I did!! Nikki had one day of being lazy and sore, then back to her normal self. Gizmo was the same, cranky for one day then back to being his silly self!! I will keep you both in my prayers!!

We'll be keeing Payslee in our thoughts and prayers for a successful spay and quick recovery. :)

You sound just like I did last thursday. I know it was hard for me to leave my sofia at the vet too. She is 9 months but only weights 2Lbs 5 oz. I worried all day. Just keep yourself busy, I shopped for fun toys and things for her. She was not happy for a couple days, but back to normal by day 3. It great to have my shadow back. Your will be better in no time. Good luck.

If she is anything like Ginger, which we know they are two peas in a pod, you won't be able to contain her after surgery lol She will be back to her old self in no time flat! Kisses for Miss Payslee Grace!

Hi Chelsey. I wanted to let you know that both Miss Payslee and you will be in my thoughts & prayers heavily. I wish Payslee a speedy recovery and can't wait to read positive updates. Again, you will truly be in my prayers!

Thank you so much for posting this. I have been struggling with the decision to spay my Tessie because she is so small-- 2.8 lbs when I adopted her last year at age 2.5 years and I have read sooo much that scares me about putting one so small under anesthesia, but also read so much that scares me if I don't (pyometra). So I recently scheduled her spay appt. for this coming Tuesday. I am so nervous and anxious, so it is very comforting to read positive posts like yours and I'm sure it will help Chelsey's nerves too. Again, very strong prayers for Miss Payslee!

thank you all for the encouraging words and for the thoughts and prayers for miss payslee and myself i knew everyone on here would know how i felt lol. YT is great for things like this and im glad to be apart of it. thank you again everyone! i know im going to be worried all day and night. she sleeps with me every night so im sure i wont be getting much sleep tomorrow night. :rolleyes: and Robin they are verrrrrry much alike, hopefully payslee will be like ginger and be back to herself in no time! thank you guys again! =]

I most certainly wish the best for you and little Payslee! I'm sure everything will go alright, but I'm sure you must be worried! Good luck tomorrow, you guys will be in my thoughts!

Pardon my intrusion, but I have a question for Crickettsmom: did you get yours both done at the same time? If so, did it work alright?
