Coloring question 1 Attachment(s) So I was just browsing some pics of yorkie pups and came across this little cutie. I love the light coloring, but the coloring definitely doesn't look like the standard. Has anyone seen a pup with this coloring before? I'm pretty sure it's a purebred. |
 i wouldnt like to say one way or the other , absolutely gorgeous though :D love jill n poppy xx :aimeeyork |
Purebred in itself means very little, a dog can be purebred and not look anything like the breed. As more breeders deviate from standard, this happens more frequently. I think ALL puppies are cute, but I think it's important to only support those breeders who understand the importance of breeding to standard. Every time we purchase a puppy, we are approving of how that breeder breeds dogs. |
Hm.. she's from a litter of 5 puppies and the other 4 seem to meet more of the standard breed requirements. Mom seems to have a lighter tannish coat though. She's gorgeous.. I'm really contemplating going to meet with the breeder and the pups. |
I don't know if the pic you have there is a chocolate yorkie or not. I cannot see enough of the doggie, but this link shows you what a chocolate yorkie looks like: Home |
Shes a chocolate yorkie |
Looks like a lot of Morkie puppies I've seen. |
