hi does anyone of GEORGIA WARREN FROM WARRENSHIRE YORKIES? she has a pup for me and i just want to make she shes 100% good?????????????????? thank you soooooo much:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa my yorkie recently passed away and i want to buy from a good person with good pups

I don't know her but looking at her website I would love to be one of her furbabies and live there..:p. She looks like she has been around showing and breeding so hopefully someone on here will know her on a personal level. It is so hard to know everything by a website.

I know she's a YTCA member her set up looks wonderful I don't know her as I haven't seen her show in my area since I'm in Tx but as I always say do a meet and greet session and always go with your gut. I can say this from the looks on the website the yorkies live better than I do LOL...

Good for you for doing your homework. I looked at the site and I could see no "red flags." One of the things that bothers me on some breeder's sites, are PayPal accounts. None here, and there is nothing wrong with PayPal, but it tells me that the breeder is more into selling dogs than placing pups. A good breeder will want to interview you, and see if the Yorkie is right for you. Some breeders just pretend to do this. I like her "Breeder's Pledge": It made me think that she understood certain things about breeding.

I have heard of her, but did not know she was a yorkie breeder. She and her husband have two (I think) very nice homes in the Kingsport area, and a farm in Bristol. They are on several boards there, and donate alot to the animal, and homeless shelters. I have only heard good things about her.

WOW thats all i can say my boyfriend and i wear joking about how her puppies must cost a years pay and come with a 15 page adoption contract
i know its tacky but do you mind if i ask how much you are paying for your pup im very curious about it

I would definitely try to schedule a meet and greet. Reputable breeders will allow you into their home to see where their puppies are raised. I definitely liked the looks of the site though :)

Looks wonderful! Her puppies remind me of Jack. I would definitely get a pup from her. No red flags at all on her site. Good luck and congrats!

well thank you all so much!!!!! im going to trust her and get a my pup from her in a few weeks, she did invite me and my husband there to visit and we will go! im very excited to get a pup. my yorkie gabriella passed away recently at 14 1/2yrs old, i miss her very very much.

I'm sorry you lost Gabriella, but it does show that you will make a wonderful mother if she lived 14 years!. Best of luck, I can't wait to see pictures.

I've heard wonderful things about Georgia.....I've not had the pleasure of meeting her, but have heard from people that have pups from her breeding and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the experience.

Definately go do the meet and greet.

You'd be very surprised that YTCA breeder's pups are considerably less that what you'd pay from a Pet Store/BYBer/Puppy Mill. Breeder/Exhibitors breed very minimally/selectively (1 or 2 litters a year) for their next Champion to add to their breeding program. The sad thing is that they can't keep every puppy within the litter, so they place them in approved homes. It's not about the money, it's about finding that perfect home for their pups they don't keep.

Congratulations, from what I hear you are not only getting a puppy, but you are buying a relationship. Georgia will be there for you 7 x 24 for the rest of that pups life.

She'll probably demand a lot from you too......lots of pictures and communication on how the pup is doing.....most reputable breeders want to keep track of their pups......see how they're growing, how happy they are, etc.....

All I can say is...WOW! Wish I had known about her when I got Rily last June.

I hope you and others check out the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America referral pages next time you're thinking about buying a yorkie; Georgia Warren is a YTCA breeder and there are many quality breeders to be found. There are YTCA breeders in practically every state. I learned about the YTCA through Yorkietalk and I'm so glad I did.

Her pups are gorgeous! I hope she's around when I am ready to get another yorkie. If you do decide, please let us know how things work out as far as being a reputable breeder and things of that nature.

I'm sure she would probably get a lot of business from us YT members looking to get a yorkie if she checks out okay!

I know Georgia Warren a long time and she is wonderful and very reputable.
