It's a Conspiricy!! I have bragged  many time, about how well my dogs all eat. Nope, no fussy ones here. I swear they got together on the w/e and decided NOT to eat! :aimeeyork "Hey, if we stop eating dis sduf, mummy wel gib us sumping gooder, pwomis, we jus gutta tick togeder. We can get chikun, gwaby, sum good sduff." :aimeeyork Since Sunday, I have been begging them to eat! Gr-r... any of you with multi's have conspiracy's at your place?? |
ha, ha, I have to agree...it is a conspiracy! Just when I think it's safe...they stop eating! I've finally figured out that if I stick to my guns, they will eat. I have been really good with picking their food up after about 15/20 minutes. I have noticed that this will get them to come flying into the kitchen when I call them to eat. I also do entice them with some shredded cheese/veggies/rice or something human in their food. I think that I would get bored eating the same foods everyday too. :) |
Any other time it has happened, I sprinkle a few R/C kibbles on top, and they eat... not this time. I think they have been reading over my shoulder, and KNOW that there are Yorkies MORE spoiled than them. Now they are getting demanding! Is there a "Yorkie Union", that I don't know about? LOL |
It seems lately that the only way I can get Pixie to eat is to hand feed her. They are a funny little dog. But, you got to love them. |

I started a thread in Health & Diet because Reesie isn't eating, isn't pooping, refuses her treats, sleeps more than usual....she's got me worried. She pooped out a clump of Tidy Cats litter yesterday so I know where she's been. |
MMMm That happens to us too....good to see what others think. |
Mine is doing the same thing. She hasn't been eating hardly at all the last few days. She will when my other dog comes in or the cat. I hate to hear you all are going thru the same thing but it sure does make me feel better. |
Hunger strike is over-ish... Well eating has resumed, about 1/2 what would be normal!:rolleyes: For the past week the crew has consumed, pumpkin, frozen beans, Cheerios, and 1/2 dozen kibbles a day... But I was persistent, (and watched for signs of low sugar), and fingers crossed... |
I mix plain yogurt in their food maybe once a week and it guarantees they'll eat it:) The only problem is Bandit doesn't chew....he swallows the kibble whole!! |

Hard to decipher yorkie talk ... kkkkk  No conspiracy here, dry food only club ! XOXO |
haha, Joey has for some reason decided that it's ok to take his food out and drop kibbles all over my floor...then when you try to feed them to him, he WON'T EAT THEM!!! grr. I need to begin feeding them at specific times rather than free feeding... |
